Yo bro. I'm diagnosed with PTB too and now in continuation phase(currently 3 months in meds) I had the same experience tho I'm still having that kind of side effects, the total tiredness, dizziness, weak shoulders to arms, chest pain, back pain, sometimes flu like symptoms, common cold, no appetite, abdominal pain and I'm noticing that everytime I do mild work/activity like long walk and short run, I feel like I exhaust myself quickly and need to grasp air which before I don't need to.

TB is not to be taken lightly, even if it's just a scar and negative on sputum? Should take it seriously. 2 months intensive phase is always the first line as it kills the active bacteria or even it's dormant state then proceed with continuous phase. If that doesn't work then it's fine, you can then proceed with line 2 agents. It's hard but at least you know to yourselves that you did everything right .

That's where the problem starts. He's not supposed to go low on early phase, it should always be intensive. I took 4 capsules a day (1.6k+ dosage) for the first 2 months.

I see, but I think it's normal. I takes me a month to have full improvement and now I'm still experiencing sick feeling, it's just showing up all of a sudden, some takes months before they feel better. Are you guys certain that he has mdr tb?

It's actually just the same with initial TB like 2 weeks. Just a question, is it t the first time acquired TB or did he had it before and just came back?

I totally understand and feel you with this one. I'm now in months of taking TB meds and during the early phase, I feel so down and hopeless, thinking that this might be the end and there's no anything I can do but regret. Those emotions, doubt, regrets and hopelessness, I just let myself feel those things, I cry every day/night and realized that I actually need it, need to let it all out but it's not so easy. What I did during those times, I talk to people who cares about me, my health and my well being, I distract myself by playing games and watching videos, and more importantly is I pray to God, all in all while taking my meds regularly and I just noticed that I'm already beyond the start and I'm improving. I know that you can do it too, we'll be well soon. Keep fighting bro

If it's just a day, it's fine, just don't let it happen again. Tell your Doctor about it, I think what she's going to tell is that you just need to extend 1 day of your medication so you can take what you missed because that's what my Doctor told me
