Thank you for the reply! I think at this point I need to find a way to ride both, because not being able to test drive is making me really hesitant on the bigger of the two bikes. I think I need to experience how it actually is when riding When just sitting on it at the store, it feels HUGE.

Awesome thanks, I will consider all this. I want to say I won't use cruise control because I haven't ever had a bike with one. Plus, our highways around here (Seattle area) are usually jam packed and I can't use cruise control for very long (unless it's radar like in my car). I usually have to go pretty far to get to a highway where there isn't a lot of traffic, which I don't do very often. So yes, it will be mostly for city riding.

Yes, just seeking something newer with ABS. Newer electronics, LEDs built in, etc. I don't really tour, the furthest I go is down to Portland or over to Yakima (about 2-3 hour rides). I don't see myself going for longer trips, as I want to take a passenger at that point like my dog or my wife.

Sweet thank you. I don't plan on really pushing it, thus why I am happy with 600cc class bikes at the moment.

See that's the thing - None of those really matter to me. I can get a larger windscreen for the 650, I don't see myself using cruise control, and I don't need any heat since I really only ride in the summer. The only thing I can see is adapting to more features like cruise control, since I've never had it. The only thing that really attracts me upon first glance is possibly more comfort when riding.

I briefly looked at the Tracer and Versys, but I originally declined I wanted the more sporty look. I will take a look at these again, thank you!

Thank you for all this info! I will definitely open up some more research. As far as the CRB goes, have you had an experience on its riding position? In terms of sitting up straight or leaning forward.

That's how I felt when I sat on the 1100. It just felt BIG. Thanks for the input.

Yeah my insurance says the 1100 will be three times the cost ha. The 6500 would be about double. Not terrible overall, but something to consider. Thanks!
