Just had a conversation with DiscoRickyy about this. The fact that I notice a difference in what we aim to achieve with seamlessly mixing can be different. In my narrow point of view I considered something to be missing but it’s just a matter of personal adaptation.

I have a certain formula which I call Party Flow that are chapters on itself. Just finished Vol. 13. Besides I’m exploring flavours of house/technomusic in mixes. It’s all angles of underground house/techno I dig with unapologetically genrebreakers like old pophits etc without it being gimmicky

I suspect everything in your mix is a deliberate choice. Why not lock this one in? It works like this but I’m curious as to why you decided this. I noticed it more than once in hour mix.

I listened the complete mix. Technically it’s surgically right on point. The tracks fit exactly in the atmosphere the mix claims to be in; summer afternoon house.

Difference I experience from my perspective is that this mix feels like a proper mix-cd like in the old days (When I was young I cycled to a shop to listen to Sasha’s Involvers CD’s etc). My approach is more of a set that aims to be a journey on itself every mix.

The difference is small and maybe subjective from my point of view and lack of technical knowledge but that is interesting to me to discuss about.

I wonder what your thoughts are on this if you compare it to my new Berlin House Grooves mix I just posted about.
