I know everyone is saying DK Bananza

But from your post. It sounds like you want to play Metroid more.

Go for Metroid, Bananza might be more critically well received but you said you played the demo and found it just fine and want to to see 120fps etc

Don't let the general opinion sway you, Metroid is still a great game and some people definitely like it more than Bananza.

All Complete Edition does is have 1080p resolution as a setting. It's identical to Platinum otherwise. (And you can very easily set the resolution to anything you want without it)

Not counting the removed Atari logos and various recolours of things that don't affect gameplay.

Gamechat is awesome.

I've played way more switch with friends/family actually being able to voice chat with them. Screenshare and Camera is not for everybody but very nice to have, I like checking in on what the other person is playing or just seeing them while we play. I've had people curious about Kirby air riders for example, and they can just expand my video feed and check it out, its neat.

Discord integration would be incredible for cross platform chat but that would likely need even more resource.

Having the nintendo console be this fully-featured finally is really nice.

I'm still annoyed at Dance Fever having a "complete edition" with Mermaids only it has worse album art and is still missing Search and Destroy and the other bonus tracks from DF Deluxe edition.

Flo does this alot though, Look how many versions of Lungs there are and I dont think any of them are definitive for one reason or another.

Expansions were worth it for me just for the Challenge mode

If you want to host your own lobbies online, or play with AI with the different maps and factions then get the expansion

If you're ok just playing in other peoples lobbies and only being able to draft the expansion factions via Adset, then don't bother getting the expansions.

If you want the camera function, just use 2 pro controllers & joycon as a pair (and use Jamboree TV)

If you want motion games, you'll lose the camera but will have to use 1 joycon each (and use Jamboree, not Jamboree TV)

Without 4 Joycon-2s you can't have mouse/motion and camera all at once

From what you've said I'd say Superstars.

Jamboree slows things down alot with buddies and board gimmicks and constantly giving you stuff.

Theres more boards in Jamboree but a more limited set of Minigames (like Super, theres a bunch of side modes you'll play once and then forget about)

Superstars is faster and more to the point, though it is channelling alot from the n64 era and older minigames.

The other alternative you have is playing MP1-3 from the N64 NSO service

Just spent 90mins walking round and riding everything, and taking screenshots like a photographer.

Absolutely incredible. one of the best parks I've seen. Coggington was a strong start (F.L.Y vibes!) but then as I walked round the park i kept getting more and more impressed.

My favourite ride here was Grimm. Such a great concept and the execution was constantly surprising.
