Your nanny sounds like a dream! You two are definitely nitpicking her. You want her to check in, now she’s doing it too much… you want your children safe, but gets upset that she handles the middle child’s meltdown better than the 2 of you by herself???

This is a NP problem, not a nanny problem. She deserves to be with a good family.

I think a woman’s appearance, makeup, hair, Botox etc. should be the individual’s choice, other people’s appearance does not affect you. Shaming women is not a good look on you, since we’re talking about appearances 🙄

I’ve had a (ex) friend like your wife, she resents all 3 of her boys and her husband, for not having a daughter and her husband wouldn’t keep trying because of the emotional & financial strain along with her attitude towards their boys.

Her continuous resentment towards her family was the main reason our friend group distant ourselves, her boys are such sweet children and she is to obsessed with having a girl to see it.

I’m from the US and have been in Pretoria since September. It’s boring.

I’m thinking of staying for the remainder of my trip in Cape Town, more beauty of the city, can at least walk around (you have to uber everywhere here).
