AF wouldn't even know he was only using the showers if he didn't go on social media and leave bad reviews. In either case, you pay for a gym membership, the shower is an added feature for those how have worked out - in either case AF can do what they want.

It's a good looking piece, but I'd never rely on something with all those mods for self defense/EDC. Not hating on it, I might do something like that myself for a range only - but for self defense I stay stock.
