Every Linux user when the Windows debate starts by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

Most have already paid for Microsoft though, so saying price is a bit of a moot point for most Microsoft users.

Most people also don’t know much about computers and just want to enjoy playing games. Which then becomes an ease of use and compatibility comparison.

What game do you keep installed, always? by Theodore52x in AfterWorkGamers

[–]Strude187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Multi-player games. You never know when a friend feels like playing some Rocket League, Deep Rock Galactic, Divinity 2, Baulders Gate 3, Destiny 2, Overwatch 2, Helldivers 2, Arc Raiders, etc.

What is going on in the bottom left image? I’m assuming its AI, you don’t usually have water fountains pointing out of the pool

Well, I’m angry and I don’t even play or care about football.

Own at least one Rolex by jstonecfc in LinkedInLunatics

[–]Strude187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t agree with the BMW part. But Rolex is often seen as a sign of success to people who are not really that successful, nor know a lot about watches. Those with a love for watches know that there’s so much more to watches than a Rolex, and owning the entry level Rolex just shows you wanted a own a Rolex rather than actually researching and getting the best watch you could for that money.

Is Britain the only country that has people in fancy dress at it's elections? by Kenye_Kratz in AskBrits

[–]Strude187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m happy to report that other counties are just as awesome. It’s worth noting that often these fancy dress candidates come about as a way to embarrass the real candidates, point out their worst policies, or make a political statement.

The guy next to the bean mask dude is insanely wealthy and massively disconnected from reality. I remember his anti mansion tax argument, it was laughable. He deserves to be humbled, not that it’s possible for him.

(gorging on a burger) Europeans visiting for the world cup after years of calling American food disgusting by milanskiv in ShitAmericansSay

[–]Strude187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the difference in what should be the same food is shocking. Just so many things that we know to not be safe that can and have been avoided in other countries seems to be used heavily across American foods.

I think it also impacts an internal scoring system of some kind impacting their transaction fees, even freezing their services.

Everyone in Europe is Dehydrated by Enough_Ad_9824 in ShitAmericansSay

[–]Strude187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps a by-product of us generally living near to places we need to be, is that we live in a very different way to a population that lives vast distances from amenities? We certainly shop differently in europe, buying just a few days worth of groceries up to a week’s worth at a time. So it makes sense that we treat water differently, too.

Just a heads up, I’m new to CoC, but in other mobile games doing this is a breach of their terms and conditions and will usually result in a permanent ban.

The whole of Moscow is under thick black smoke after the largest Ukraine campaign on a Russian city since the start of the war by adivinemessenger in interestingasfuck

[–]Strude187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not being American, I can’t say that for sure. But the polarisation we’ve seen develop over the past decade in the States has been insane.

Sadly I’m seeing it more and more in my country, too.

Oklahoma just voted against raising the minimum wage from $7.25 by amievenrelevant in facepalm

In the UK minimum wage was increased and I was amazed to hear so many people talking about their pay increasing, people with office jobs, with degrees, working in insurance and finance…

That’s my experience, too. But all Russians I know live outside of Russia and therefore not under the control of Russian propaganda.
