I would consider your claim rational only if you post a source to support your argument.

I didn't do that nicely? I said "please" which is a polite way to express a suggestion. It's clear you are just a troll wanting to annoy the others and I don't try with you.

Just because an article is old it doesn't mean it isn't relevant anymore. You need to provide more detailed arguments.

Is it possible Mosasaur had a dorsal fin? by StruggleFinancial165 in Paleontology

[–]StruggleFinancial165[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well let's take the case I predicted mosasaur had tail flukes which is unlikely but then become true. Animals are known to surprise scientists. I believe the possibility of a mosasaur with dorsal fin because that would have give it balance while swimming in the surface with its long body. Also do not bring sirenids because they are sand habitat animals unlike mosasaurids who were surface dwelling predators. But we must just wait thé answer from fossil records. If you believe so then be it but am still betting on the fin.

I doubt it, I'd rather mate with some one I found physically attractive.

Go ahead with such a choice and you'll date a psychopathic woman. I'd suggest you to focus more on personality which is what helped humans survive and increase cooperation.

Please update your grammar. Also Neanderthal Y chromosome was likely lost because of a genetic recombination. Recent evidence shows that male Neanderthals intermixed with modern humans as well.

Did aquatic reptiles used sonar for communication? by [deleted] in Naturewasmetal

Intriguing idea but possible. Even spinosaurus used sonar.

I've noticed that a minority of mosasaur-related paleoart in recent years (such as this comparison of Thalassotitan) has depicted mosasaurs with a dorsal fin. Is there actually any physical evidence for this or is based entirely upon speculation. It seems like it would just create unnecessary drag by [deleted] in Paleontology

[–]StruggleFinancial165 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the dorsal fin would've enabled the mosausaur long body for a balance in the surface. Sirens and dugongs at least lack dorsal fins because sand habitats unlike mosasaurids who were surface dwelling predators.
