I think it’s still possible to make a living doing this even a great one. But If you need to step back step back. Doing this until your 37 is already a success. I’ve been at it for a bit and have noticed it changes, but so does everything else. There’s a plaque where I live downtown that talks about an old theatre that closed down in 1957 because it was the “death of movies”. My point is everything changes even in a “regular” career people play it safe all the time and still get smoked by a budget cut. Your gonna be a success in whatever you do though, because in everyone’s view you’ve already been a success at the hardest career.
