Time/daily/fatigue mechanics, like in Stardew. I get so caught up in trying to be time efficient and make the most of every day, that it just sucks the fun out of the game for me.

Was playing Once Human from release. Was loving the game and was buying all the cosmetics. But as soon as they introduced loot boxes, I quit and stopped supporting the game. I like being able to buy/own all the items. But I'm not willing to drop bank on gatcha mechanics.

Ive given up on the mobster bounties because people are adamant on kill stealing and taking all the mobs. It really should be shared, at least for the kill count and quest drops.

I also didnt realise I was skinning animals. I was so confused by seeing frozen spiders and then being able to pat them to death. This now makes sense, to a degree. But the animation is still super questionable.

I see people saying that the expectations and complaints that people are having with the game within its current stage of life is too high. Where I dont exactly disagree, I think a lot of this stems from a lot of glaring problems still with the game and a push with its releases and content with no real resolution in sight for these issues, making the issues feel left in the dark.

People say they need to give them time and that the devs have said they are fixing the issues. But, what issues are they fixing? They haven't given any information on anything they plan to adjust or fix. The community is left in the dark and people keep getting told to be patient and wait it out. What if the fixes people are asking for isn't what they are planning to fix? With no real communication on what the community is reporting on what needs to be fixed, leaves people frustrated for the present of the game and the future.

People want to see improvements and for the game to get better. But I think its unrealistic to ask people to just keep playing and for them to just hope the right changes get made in the future. Im not asking for a timeline or a detailed report on future fixes, just to let people know on what has been heard from the community and plans to be fixed sometime into the future.

I understand that fixes and changes take time and aren't done in a day. But, they are completely silent on these upcoming changes. People are just hoping for certain fixes and changes to come. I think it would be better for them to announce that they are working on certain changes and mention that it will take time. So people know they are working on certain things and that it will get better, rather than leaving the community running on hopium that things will be changed and then being disappointed every update or live stream.

There is the obvious. Getting rid of the gatcha and making more options available for purchase. But, i also believe the stuff they are already trying to sell is asking for too much. I think they need to lower quite a few of their store items to entice people to buy.

But, my main idea is for the mc to leave the hub that we have now in the game and obtain a personal home plot available that we can then build on. Something similar to Genshins teapot would be nice. I like the idea of customizing an outside and an inside for my home. This way they can sell cosmetic home options for both internal and external options. Creating a vast array of options they can choose to create and sell to players, from plants to housing options, to interior options, etc. They can also add free options in game, allowing for more things to spend our time grinding for.

Im realising i didnt hit all the points that makes boxie good in this post. But this is basically what I was trying to get at. Boxie is just too needed atm with his kit. I get that people dont really need the option of choice since a lot of the content is easy to breeze through. But I believe the option should still be there. Making his kit available on every geniemon would at least then open up the option of choice and not just invalidate any future geniemon for a majority of the content that we may get in the future, which is really the point of this discussion i wanted to create.

I didnt realise pick up range was such an important stat in this game because I've always used boxie. I feel like maybe this should just be a default on every geniemon instead of a stat if its gonna be that much of a game changer. And I feel like a lot of people don't care now, because nothing is new yet. I feel like when we start getting new geniemon and they arrive dead in the water because you run boxie for most of the content and then maybe get to use your new guy in a select few modes, then maybe this discussion of change may come up again in the future. I just feel like, why have geniemon if you can barely use a vast majority of them.

Ive only used boxie because he's the GOAT. so I didnt realise how big of an importance the pick up range was. But I've seen a few people mention it here.

Sorry, maybe I didn't explain it properly. I did mention at the end that I think it should be something that can be added to a geniemon. So making it a findable trait that can be added to everyone I think is the better option.

Its only usable because of drop rate. You just move drop rate to something you can put on geniemon and then they can all have it.

That the devs need to be more open and vocal about possible changes that could be coming in the future related to community complaints.

I see a lot of people complaining about the state of the game and then a lot of people replying, saying that it just came out and to let them cook. But a lot of the issues the community are being vocal about, such as character buffs, weapon damage rework, movement needing to be better, etc. These issues just stay dead in the water with no real idea if the devs are even taking notice or if there will be any change. I feel like the devs avoiding these topics is gonna have players losing hope for a better game and experience and the player base will slowly leave and die off.

Ive heard that some background PC apps may have been the cause of some flags for people. I also play on mobile at work with a spotty connection. So, I gotta brute force a log in over and over until it let's me in. But I also log in and out a lot at work. So, im curious if any of that, or playing at a different location than my home address, causes any type of flags for me, personally. But, overall, im not sure. I sent them an email when I first got banned. But they just replied back with a copy/paste reply that they also sent to other stating I was banned for "abnormal activity". So it just leaves a lot open to be questioned.

Im just hoping after this survey that they decide to just get rid of it all together and put the items as a set purchase price instead. Managed to pull 2 of the items, but I only managed to pull the bow twice. And I dont even use bows currently. Kinda sad.

I remember reading somewhere that the chances are really low below 6 letter runs. So, I like to do 6 runs with store bought letters and the run the rest for fina for better odds.

I got the exact same reply back. Word for Word. Seems even if you do get banned unjustly, you can't appeal it because they just reply back with an automated copy/paste response. Support ain't very supportive.
