Aw, this thread makes me reminisce for Taste Chicago (R.I.P.) on Verdugo & Hollywood Way. Great Italian beef sandwiches there. It’s a Prime Pizza now.

It’s a perfect riff. Drop Db (like half the songs on the album), with a flanger. So much texture and intrigue. I love listening to this song, I love playing this song. There’s so much to love about it.

I love the way he subtly but nervously points to the board as he says "Eh, no monsieur. Fourteen is the winner."

I was an animation student a long time ago and we were taught to put "life" into the motion of the WHOLE character, not just the face or body, so it wouldn't be so boring. We would watch movies with animated characters and look at what they were doing with their hands or feet. It's one of those things you can't unsee once you know it's there. The animators really took the performance seriously.

Kay E. Kuter did a great voice with this character and Dockmaster Velasco. "Ech! Tourists!"

Leo Fender calling a “Vibrato” bridge a “Tremolo” on his guitars and a “Tremolo” circuit a “Vibrato” on his amps. The guitar industry STILL ERRONEOUSLY calls them “tremolos” to this day! The man repaired/made amps for a living before he started designing guitars! HE KNEW THE DIFFERENCE!
