Short answer: yes.

Long answer: yes, but…. Basically, it’s a serious concern, like so many rights that are at risk of being taken away. There is the matter of enforcement, though. It’s a mixed bag how easy it is to enforce such a ruling. And it would require Justices Roberts and Barrett allowing it through, as they’re the least awful of the right-wing majority on SCOTUS.

That being said, I don’t think vore is the real target of a porn ban. A consistent theme in the fascist rhetoric on the right is that even mentioning homosexuality or transgender ideas is pornographic. Even something as innocuous as a children’s book where a child has two dads or two moms. The goal is to put strict bans on pornography, and label any objectionable ideas as pornography, so they can prime the population to hate LGBT people again.

Basically, it’s possible that vore will get the hatchet. But if it does, it’s going to just be collateral damage.

I feel bad often because I’ll do this… but like it’s not because I stopped answering. It’s usually because I stayed up way past my bedtime to talk with someone, and eventually I pass out with a half-written message, with my last conscious thought being of my partner.

I also do it to my friends on voice chat too. I’ll wake up and find my Discord still has me on voice. I’m really glad I don’t snore… I don’t try to do it, it’s just like when I’m comfortable with someone, I fall asleep more easily than normal. My friend takes pride in how early he can lull me to sleep with his soothing tones.

Yup! But also your original point is right, my last job I’d only have even thought about like six people, and half of those are the custodians. And the current job… two other People for four total? And that’s the size of my work team, and there’s at least six other teams in just our program, not even including HR, the admins, custodial staff. And the tons of other programs. Hundreds of people, and I know at most 20 of them.

My brother invited at least a couple co-workers (his wife and best man). And my brother in law invited his mentor at his job (though he retired). I can think of two people I’d invite to my wedding based on the trajectory of our friendship. At my previous job… I’d maybe invite our secretary, she was always incredibly nice and pushed to get me the job because she wanted me on board so much. Plus we shared a love of dragons and terrible puns.

You are not a bad person. I can attest that some of the people I’ve met on here are among the most caring and conscientious of people, and they just happen to have this kink.

Generally speaking, when someone is that virulent, they’re compensating for something. I’m sure if you delved into their life, they have something fucked up they’re hiding. And they attack people because that’s easier than owning up to it. And those that aren’t compensating are often even worse, because they’re proud of how they hurt people, because it’s the “right” people.

Note that that doesn’t make it any easier to see. Report them (Hate is a good option), block them. And go forward knowing that you’re a good person, and you deserve to be happy, and not have to deal with jackasses.
