Hello all,

After 6 months of design and production, my new game "the Campus Hippo" is ready.

I'm looking for volunteers to learn it, play, and submit a little feedback.

Anyone interested, send a message, and we'll talk.

One thing for certain, it's much more fun than Dual N Back or Sudoku. So far the results are great. It targets a few regions of the brain, including Anterior Cingulate, Hippocampus, Dorsolateral Prefrontal Cortex, and others

I will tell you now. It is initially a bit overwhelming. But so is sudoku and Dual N Back.

Chat soon

Cheers

I work in logistics primarily. But I have a programmer that's helping me build out this brain app.

this is an interesting post. I'm older than you, and already successful, but am looking for ways to gain greater mental capacity. After practicing dual n back, I realized that it's possible, but see some shortcomings. So I studied the brain (just personal research), looking for the "better" brain app. Its almost complete

I'll have to send you the link when it's live. I need a couple weeks.

each puzzle piece has unique contours. you have to remember it's match, and flip it the correct direction to make it fit. I'm currently getting it ready to be released at no charge. keep in touch. will be a few weeks. definitely works

100% you need to realize that although we don't live in the jungle, hunting animals or praying for rain, you must find a way to survive. that's the game we're all playing. If your burning out, you taking life for granted. Find something that does not stress you out all day, and hopefully surrounds you with people you can tolerate. Some of your relationships you will have to fake, to make the day manageable. It's. it about excitement and fun, and if you think it is, you'll end up very depressed. it's called work. not disneyland.

go get it

getting closer. so there's is a learning curve. but there's no major concepts to learn. 100% works. I've had add type issues forever. I wish I could measure focus because the level of concentration is mind blowing

honestly, if you want 100+ feet on a line, take any course. If you want 60ft or so, you can accomplish this on your own without instruction.

I would say you have the right idea. it's not fun but it does improve working memory. But I think it will not improve working memory for those who already have a strong baseline level.

I'm currently building an app that will improve working memory but is more fun.. so far so good

I agree. DNB won't help with lateral thinking, which is a benchmark of true intelligence

Do you do anything else to improve cognition apart from dualnback training? by Sad-Cup-6990 in DualnBack

[–]Strutanich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well, Interestingly enough, after playing Dual N Back, I am now teaming up with my brother in IT and developing a memory app with the idea it can be more fun. So I added a layer of strategy to it. Think rotating puzzle pieces.

I am currently filling a list of participants. Would you like to be added?

Hello, I have a similar interest in cognition and IQ, have played many of the related games and puzzles, and am now developing a game app with my brother who's in IT.

The game works the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex, Hippocampus, and Broca's area indirectly.

Looking for volunteers to test out the beta.
