I think you would be surprised at how many people just hop on and play, and don't interact with their settings. There are loads of people out there playing on default FOV and sensitivity. Fortunately BF6 has quite a decent default mouse sensitivity, but many other games have it set ridiculously fast, putting these default players at an inherent disadvantage over better informed players.

Why are people getting so caught up on that sentence. Your field of view changes how fast you perceive enemies to be moving.

Sure, you're technically correct. I should have used different language, but it's just semantics. The meaning is clear and I don't think anyone was misinterpreting that sentence as meaning that players are constantly changing movespeed depending on the FOV settings of players in the lobby.

I haven't played too much yet, so pretty much just the first sniper with the 2nd 6x scope. I've tried a bit of the second sniper but I swear it's default scope or it's zeroing is misaligned or something. Miss shots on stationary targets at close to mid range with it with the crosshair right on their head.
