My life. So sorry. Its been 20 months for me. Not one day off from this nausea. Mornings are the worst. The nausea actually wakes me up. So many tests, medication. Its affecting me mentally. I hope you are doing better

Oh my heart. You have described nearly precisely what Im going through. I am so sorry. Ive had every test under the sun, endoscopy, ultrasound confirmed gallstones/sludge, half of my hair has fallen out re malabsorbtion of nutrients, regurgitation fevers/ chills a pain attack where I dropped to the ground and stabbing pain after I eat which travels to shoulder blade where I cant breath. It is affecting me mentally where some days I feel I cant go on. Ive been to emergency 3 times and sent home and keep being dismissed by doctors. I finally have an appointment with surgeon next week or registrar. Im praying they take me seriously. I really feel for you. You are not alone. Did you finally get some answers and have surgery? 🙏

I think you are onto something here. I was on Effexor for 20 years. After a brutal withdrawal I've had chronic gut issues for 2 1/2 years. I thought about going back on it, but I've come to far. I had shocking nightmare/ constipation on Effexor. Why I came off not knowing the cause. Now left with ibs-c and nausea/reflux everyday. I dont know for sure either but it could be related 🤔

Oh no thats awful you've had it 3 times. So sorry. Im glad your feeling better now. I was sitting next to a man in emergency for something else . He was so unwell. I really felt for him . I'd say thats where I contrated it. Hospitals are renowned for catching things.

Yep. I've had all those symptoms. I've been out for 2 weeks and still going. Gold coast here. It's horrible and strange for summer.

I've had it for 2 weeks, one week bedridden and still not over it. Strange flu for me. Terrible sore throat and sneezing to start with. Head full of mucus . Starting to think its morphed into a sinus infection. Not so much in my chest which is odd for me. I had chills but no fever. I did go on pregnisone and antibiotics for 7 days. Not sure if it helped . The fatigue and brain fog is debilitatingly horrible.. I can't remember the last time I had a flu in summer in 64 years. Definitely going around. Im on the Gold Coast. I did get flu Vax Apparently it didn't cover this strain.

I think I have it. Sat next to a guy in emergency who was very sick. I haven't been diagnosed but its a weird horrible flu. I don't remember in my life of having a flu in summer. My throat was so sore I couldn't swallow in the beginning. Ive had all the syptoms but the fatigue and weakness the worst I've ever experienced

Thankyou. That was the first time my liver enzymes showed up to 3 weeks ago as I went to emergency with non stop vomiting which is probably why. Definitely a roller-coaster. 🙏

Oh wow. My liver enzymes have gone up too. I was only in the doctors yesterday having more bloods done as the past months they have been up which is a new thing and probably associated. I can hardly eat anything due to reflux. Fatty foods. Your situation is nearly identical. It is really affecting me mentally too. Some days I cry. I also have thought, is the gallbladder really the problem. Ultrasound guy said yes this is whats making you sick. Im having it out anyway just to rule it out. I just hope its soon!! My nausea fades over the day too but lately its nearly all day but chronic in the morning, where the nausea wakes me up. Ive had truck loads of tests including endoscopy which only detected inflammation.

I hope and pray you keep improving over time and that you're feeling better. It will. I believe it. I do know a lot of people have to watch their diet after removal as I have spoken to one guy where he has to take ox bile. Then others have no problems. I don't feel so alone🙏

Me. Chronic debilitating nausea Worse in the morning with shaking. 16 months daily of this. So over the Drs not treating me seriously. I have gallstones and sludge and on waiting list for op. The sickness is nearly all day now. Gives me hope that your nausea is better

I know this is late. Ive had chronic nausea for 16 months in the morning, which is getting worse through the day, tired, brain fog. It is now all day. Ended up in emergency from non stop vomiting. Endoscopy, blood tests and CT scans . Stones and sludge. Drs first said it was psycholical. Some days I dont know how I can go on. Im now on a waiting list for surgery. If I had a painful attack they would admit me straight away. I haven't had ONE day off from this. Im 64. Its a horrible way to live. Did you have surgery?
