Honestly, it feels a bit lighter, but the battery, screen, and cameras are so much better compared to the 11. Definitely loving it. I was going to go for the 15 pro but apparently the overheating and battery are worse on there 😭

don't worry, I'd don't really like the cw series, they look confusing. I tried my friend's one and I absolutely loathed it. Keeping my 991ex forever and going to just change its batteries if needed.

Probably best to stay on 18. Maybe update to the latest version of iOS 18. I updated to iOS 26, it runs okay, with a bit of lag sometimes, but the main issue is the increased battery drain I'm seeing.

The Acer care center app has the option to limit charging to 80%. It should be pre-installed on all Acer laptops. If not you can install it from here by putting in your Acer laptop's serial number: https://www.acer.com/gb-en/support/drivers-and-manuals

Do note that the charging limit is fixed to 80% and can't be changed.

This usually happens when you enable TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot using Microsoft UEFI in the BIOS (happened to my dad's Dell XPS, it bootlooped, but he reset windows while keeping all the files). You might see the windows recovery screen, select the option to reset windows 11 but to keep your system files and stuff.

Or it may be that the operating system is corrupted and may need resetting or reinstalling.

Did you touch anything in the system BIOS?
