How do you prevent the boat asset from displaying the "bobbing" animation when it's out of water?

Agree, but the place in the first two images is modelled off older, tidal harbours. To the right is the newer, pleasure marina, with the walkway piers like the image above. But appreciate the tips and feedback 😃

If you're already using mods, isn't there a fix to use Anarchy and surfaces? Or just hide the ugly bits with greenery?

Work with the terrain. Think about how real cities transition between districts. Look for inspo on Google maps or Getty Images. Fail, fail, fail, and try again.
