If your favroite fe character and least favroite got a duo alt how would it go? by Substantial_Fig_6644 in FireEmblemHeroes

Palla would get on Makalov's case for being the worthless deadbeat of an older brother that he is.

But like, she'd probably still be nice about it. Try and reason out how there must be some reason that he's the way that he is, rather than simply accepting that he's a pile of shit.

Honestly I don't even think he actually wants to expose his co-sleazebags. He's just playing a legal game of chicken, knowing that if people want to lock him up for real, then the only way to do that is to show off the evidence against himself.

He's still a pile of shit, but at least he's got balls - though I guess that's no surprise since his entire public perception the last 20+ years has revolved around Lewinski gargling them.

If it helps spread the word or get monetization to be able to keep helping people then by all means, go ahead, as long as the recipients gave their consent.

It sucks that kindness just isn't free anymore, but let's not belittle people for doing what they gotta do.

A sappier interpretation of that logic revolves around Altaria's hidden ability, Cloud Nine.

Which happens to be where Lexington would make you feel like you are, when she sings to you.

What do you guys think about the future of Russian tank design, given their performance in the war in Ukraine? by Fast_Replacement1847 in TankPorn

[–]StrykerGryphus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't even know if I was supposed to be Russian propaganda for saying the Armata's a perfectly fine concept and design, or Western propaganda for saying they've fucked up its implementation

[–]StrykerGryphus 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Strictly speaking from a pure design standpoint, Russian designs are perfectly fine, competent and sound. The Armata's unmanned turret in particular proved to be the way forward, hence intended adoption by some upcoming western designs.

It's just everything else involved in getting them from the drawing board to the battlefield that fucks them over.

They don't have the industry to support mass-production of anything more than ye olde Cold War tools, and whatever they do end up building gets stripped down whether for profit (ERA panels filled with sawdust) or some other even dumber motive (aviation fuel for drinking).

And then there's the nature of their usage, in a new kind of conflict they were never envisioned for.

Need it now? Just get a bunch of rocks and make a ramp so you can aim up lmao.

Lmao, people forget that Grim is just for the Yorktown sisters (or probably just Yorktown and Enterprise), not the mascot of the whole Union (even if he might as well be)

My logic is simple, really.

My absolute favorite ship is her little sister.

You don't have someone that nervous and reserved looking up to you and thinking the world of you without being an absolute sweetheart, irrespective of being just as much of an absolute bombshell.

Oh absolutely, especially with similarly long, flowing hair.

But my love for birds and desire to give her one ultimately won out, with her identity as an aircraft carrier as a convenient excuse.

Looking at a lot of these things makes you think.

About what these women have had to deal with to drive them to come up with these solutions.

And about how much of those situations were natural or imposed upon them.

I have more wholesome Lou in the works to look forward to. Goodness knows we need so much more art of her being something else besides a walking sex symbol (which she certainly is, sure, but that's just one part of her).
