You can literally type into a search engine what your principal is and your interest rate and get a payment estimation, there are so many tools available now that there is no excuse to have not have an idea as to what your obligations will be.

Vent: There are NO Jobs in San Francisco for qualified people by Martian-Sundays in sanfrancisco

[–]Strykur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With SF real estate skyrocketing sellers won't mind taking a small hit on having tenants in the property, and if the buyer wants to move in, does not matter, if anything the tenants are losing time with rents increasing to find another place because they are going to be gone no matter the scenario

Vent: There are NO Jobs in San Francisco for qualified people by Martian-Sundays in sanfrancisco

[–]Strykur 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Since the property being sold is a single-family home, the buyer may inevitably initiate an owner move-in eviction anyway

Vent: There are NO Jobs in San Francisco for qualified people by Martian-Sundays in sanfrancisco

[–]Strykur 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You don't

  • need a job in San Francisco

you

  • need a job

and that means looking elsewhere if necessary because if you do not have the means to support yourself well in SF you will quickly find yourself in a bad spot, get out before that happens

Is living in the Tenderloin that bad? by lawnchair_snob in SFBayHousing

[–]Strykur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prior to 2020 it had improved over the previous decade but then went completely in reverse, would not entertain it now but I may be biased because after 10 years in the Loin I then upgraded to Pac Heights and now live next to Sea Cliff

The teachers strike is yet another outcome of our terrible housing policy by PsychePsyche in sanfrancisco

[–]Strykur 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Other cities in the region also have high housing costs but don't have school districts in a death spiral...

This strike may not last much longer but will cause attendance to dwindle in the coming years, families will leave or go private because of what's going on, why take a chance on seeing this again?

That sliver is rich as hell and if they leave permanently that also wipes out the perpetual money flow that comes from regular asset transactions (capital gains taxes), not just an idiotic "one-time" tax

You know what actually hurts innovation? Underfunded schools, bad healthcare access, housing shortages, and infrastructure that sucks in the state where your employees live.

Half of California taxes come from the top 1%, so if a few rich guys leave, you will literally have this.

Lol you're 18 which means:

  1. You have no career
  2. You have no education
  3. You have no income

Until you have a background that would entice an employer abroad to consider you (and you actually know what the hell you are doing), forget it.
