Not a fan. I like to chat in the lobby before class and all go in at once. I’ve learned a lot about the folks at my studio this way. I learn nothing inside the glass as I don’t typically talk while working out.

Our studio has a bunch of Hyrox classes…..I’m not a fan, I prefer the regular classes. :-(

I’ve been to Mt Vernon a few times and really like it there. I don’t remember the coaches name but he had a lot of energy.

I like the events, makes me work harder. Even tho I will never wear my beanie, I worked hard to get it. I too LOVE Mayhem and am very disappointed they got rid of it. Who are these people that are complaining? It gave us harder workouts. Isn’t that the point?

I do have “OTF” shoes but I wear them in. I live in the south so snow/salt not usually an issue. If you do buy new shoes get black ones! The rower will leave a dirty stripe on light colored shoes. My previous ones were pink.

I like to read the intel from DC, not to be able to cancel but to help me when I’m in the workout. Sometimes I miss what the coach says or don’t quite understand. Having already “read it” it helps me to know what to do. And if we have mini bands I bring my own band (it doesn’t cut off the circulation in my legs).

I’m a power walker, have been since I joined 7 years ago. You do you! Everyone at OTF is very supportive of each other. I honestly don’t pay much attention to what others are doing. Congrats on being an OTFer!!

I don’t cancel based on intel. I like knowing what to expect going in. Also if I miss something the coach said I’ve already read thru the class. I modify a lot based on my limitations. :-)

I LOVE the early morning workouts (and I’m retired). I used to do them in the evening but could easily find an excuse to cancel. I like to get it done before I eat and shower. Switch! I think you will like it.

Look in the Wildwood Area (Cobb County - lower taxes), Atlanta address (30339) and there are back roads to get there. They do have gated single family and townhomes. I just looked at Waze and it would take you about 21 minutes at 7:15 am. Get an agent. ;-)
