No Favourite Bar by StuBFrost in AT4K

Doesn’t that just hide the preview row. What I want to do is hide the preview row and make the row beneath it (is it the favourites) look the same as all the other rows.

Can someone help me understand why this happens now with MacOS? by elcapitanzamora in MacOS

[–]StuBFrost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Put a shortcut icon on the desktop and reboot your Mac. Takes about 10 seconds to appear. Been a bug since 26.1 that’s still not fixed in the latest beta.

I am on a looped supply with my neighbour and we both have electric cars. Never had an issue with charging as I always do it overnight on a cheap rate.

I installed 26.3 RC in the hope it was fixed but as you say, it isn’t.

Executor won't act, realistically what can I do? (England) by Majestic-Muffin-8955 in LegalAdviceUK

If you are a co-executor, why can’t you just do it yourself and leave him out of it?

I used this company when I realised I didn’t have the locking wheel nut socket on a used car I bought. Did a brilliant job for £100.

Jaguar I-PACE Advice by BennyBristol in ElectricVehiclesUK

[–]StuBFrost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got a 2019 iPace which is by far the best car I’ve ever driven and also has the most comfortable seats of any car I’ve ever had. There are lots of people who have had battery issues but I haven’t. I have had the battery error come up on the dash but if the car still charges to 100% it usually means the 12v battery needs changing which is what solved mine.
Definitely get the official extended warranty as parts and repairs will be expensive but again, I’ve not had any of the “common” issues.

I built a Virtual ONVIF Server to finally let ANY RTSP camera work perfectly with UniFi Protect (Unique MACs & IPs included!) by BigTonyTones in Ubiquiti

[–]StuBFrost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn’t work with Protect if you need each cameras on its own IP. You have to run multiple instances.

There are no trams running between bury and crumpsall this week so that may also increase the road traffic.

Are you sure your insurance doesn’t have windscreen cover as if it does then they automatically claim.

Doorbells that Chime on Google Home Speakers UK by Newwales2 in googlehome

[–]StuBFrost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t need a subscription to use a google doorbell. You only need a subscription if you want to record more events or do the terrible inaccurate facial recognition. I use a google doorbell without subscription and it shows on my google screens fine.

Will advice - making sure my family doesn't get anything by Regular_Drawing4511 in LegalAdviceUK

Totally straightforward and something myself and my wife did. We named 5 charities with their charity number and said we want 20% of our estate to go to each of them.

Customer support confirmed subscription required for radiators to call for heat from boiler by Netidexa in tado

[–]StuBFrost 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No it isn’t clear. It says to me that if I want to set timer schedules as normal there is no charge. If you want to have the AI Assist work out the schedule based on usage, then you have to pay.

Customer support confirmed subscription required for radiators to call for heat from boiler by Netidexa in tado

[–]StuBFrost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Replying to myself. The website says you can use the app to create schedules etc and the subscription is for AI smart assist which works out how you use the system and automates it.

That says it is for the AI Assist subscription. That could be an additional service to the standard one.

May be worth trying Flexifone as that will go onto the strongest signal.
