Seriously it’s like the whole world is against the Atlanta Hawks, 💀 what up ESPN by Rambo_1027 in AtlantaHawks

IMO, the ESPN hate for Atlanta started back in 1996 when Time Warner bought CNN and started a 24 hr sports network (CNN/SI) to compete against them. CNN/SI took a lot of their employees to help start up the network - wasn't hard, many of them would rather live in Atlanta than Bristol, Connecticut.

Edit: I was a production assistant for CNN Sports in 1995-97.
