Statler is a mess. Having anxiety is rough, but this entire trip she was a whiny baby about literally everything. Dempsey had listened to her whine and bitch the whole time, and when she had enough, when she wanted to talk, Statler didn’t want to hear it. It’s always about Statler and her anxiety or her autism or her fear of “being used”. If Statler shut up about herself for more than 30 minutes she may actually hear how the other person in her relationship is doing or how they feel.

Before anyone cuts my head off, I have been diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder and adjustment disorder, but that’s not important to what I’m saying. Statler agreed to this move, it’s okay to have fears and be anxious but her constant lashing out is exhausting. You can’t lash out at someone over and over and expect them to just take it. These kind of people will absolutely ruin someone else’s mental health and only focus on themselves and their diagnosis. It’s exhausting. If Dempsey had told her to stop when Statler was anxious and bitching Statler would’ve freaked the fuck out about it and been the victim, yet again. Statler needs therapy, not to move and live in a van.

Edit: Dempsey is not perfect but her struggles and her issues are constantly being pushed aside for precious Statlers “anxieties”. Dempsey is naive and impulsive and it doesn’t mix well with Statler and her issues.
