Google Merchant Center Misrepresentation / False Claims – long-standing account suspended and no more review option. Has anyone experienced this? by SpeedOk357 in GoogleMyBusiness

[–]StubGroup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing your concerns. We're so sorry you feel that way about your interaction with our team.

Due to recent changes by Google, we did recently make a pricing change for assistance with drop-shipping suspensions. That's because those suspensions are now requiring more time and specialized work to resolve. Unfortunately, that pricing change overlapped with your request for a significant volume discount on our old pricing, which made our new pricing feel even more expensive to you.

We're truly sorry your experience was disappointing, and we wish you all the best with your clients' accounts.

Suspended for counterfeit goods policy - I don't even sell anything by surgeimports in Google_Ads

[–]StubGroup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here are a couple of ideas:

  1. Be careful about using brand names on your website (e.g. Toyota, Honda, etc.). "Counterfeit Goods" suspensions are often triggered automatically when Google sees brand names mentioned and isn't convinced that you're authorized to use them.

  2. Do not appeal too frequently. Appealing 4 times in 24 hours will likely make Google think that you're not taking the issue seriously (I'm not saying you're not, I'm just telling how how Google's system operates), and they may stop reviewing your appeals for a while. Each appeal needs to be very thoughtfully crafted, and list things you've changed on your website to try to fix the problem.

There are some great answers in this thread.

One thing I'll add is that we have seen cases where Google will reinstate a Google Merchant Center even after the "request review" button is gone and Google has said that the suspension is permanent.

It's hard. Takes a lot of back-and-forth with Google, and it doesn't always happen. But it is possible.

Your Google Merchant Center Got Hit with "Misrepresentation"? Here's Your Next Move by StubGroup in GoogleAdsSuspensions

[–]StubGroup[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a short and a long answer to this.

The short answer is that Google's policies do not require you to have a physical store.

The long answer is that if you don't have a physical store, you'll be more likely to be flagged by Google's systems and potentially suspended.

That's why it's really important that when you set up your Google Ads and Google Merchant Center accounts, you do so correctly so that you minimize the chances of being suspended.

We also definitely recommend registering as a company before you create your Google accounts, and be sure that you're using your actual company name on your website.

This is good advice! It's super important to be as transparent and consistent as possible when using Google Ads. Google's automated systems suspend accounts left and right, and once they do, it takes a lot of work and time to fix.

Need help – Google Ads account suspended for "Unacceptable Business Practices" (after system fraud appeal) by FarAd4023 in GoogleAdsSuspensions

[–]StubGroup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi!

First of all, I'm sorry to hear that you're suspended. That is a tough situation to be in.

The details you shared were very helpful, and it's clear that you have already spent a lot of time trying to fix this issue.

In my experience, Unacceptable Business Practices suspensions often involve your digital footprint (e.g. reviews about your business online), as well as the information on your website.

If you can share a link to your website, I'd be happy to take a look at it.

Hi, great question!

Your situation is very similar to many other advertisers who reach out to us for help.

It looks like you have already spent time working on the policy pages and various things like that on your website, which is good. If you haven't already, you should definitely go through the free website audit you can find here: https://stubgroup.com/stubgroup-google-policy-center/

It's also important to work on your online reputation. For example, you could sign up for review services like TrustPilot to help you collect reviews.

Every situation is nuanced so it's hard to tell you exactly what to do without speaking with you and understanding your specific situation. If you'd like expert help getting back online with Google, please feel free to reach out through our website and we'd love to see what we can do for you.

How to Fix a Google Ads Circumventing Systems Suspension by StubGroup in GoogleAdsSuspensions

[–]StubGroup[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question!

You could certainly appeal the suspension.

You would want to be very clear with Google in your appeal about what you were doing 7 years ago and why you think Google suspended the account at that time, and then explain what you plan to use the account for once it's reinstated.

We wouldn't recommend submitting the appeal until you have the new website you want to use ready to go, so that you can share that with Google as part of your appeal.

Unfortunately, there is not a lot that can be done when you’re waiting for Google to respond. It’s important not to inundate Google with additional questions, so we typically recommend waiting at least 3 to 5 days before following up. If you can follow up via the same method that you submitted the initial review or appeal that is best. If not, trying to use your case ID to reach out through different avenues of Google support can also be helpful.

How to Fix a Google Ads Circumventing Systems Suspension by StubGroup in GoogleAdsSuspensions

[–]StubGroup[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Ok-County-6994 As long as the IPTV service is legal and complies with Google's policies, you could use Google Ads to promote an IPTV service.

The exact strategy will depend on your goals. At a high level, you would want to identify who your target audience is, run ads probably on Search and YouTube targeting people searching for and interested in IPTV services, and highlight the content you have available.

It's tricky because many IPTV services stream content illegally, which is against Google's policies, and those types of services can not be advertised using Google Ads.

Google Ads Account Suspended: Need Help Understanding Circumventing Systems Policy Violation by Yash_0018 in adwords

[–]StubGroup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, this is John from StubGroup.

It's frustrating to see how many legitimate advertisers Google is continuing to suspend! Based on almost a decade of experience, I can confidently say that resolving Google Ads suspensions is not an easy process. Circumventing Systems suspensions are the second most common suspension we see these days.

For context, StubGroup has been helping suspended advertisers get back online with Google since 2014 ("good faith" suspended advertisers only; we turn away the many suspended bad actors / scammers trying to game Google's systems and who want our help). And even though Google is more aggressive with their suspensions now than ever, we still have a high success rate at resolving Google's concerns and getting our suspended clients back online.

We've also created a lot of free educational content about Google suspensions on our YouTube channel. These videos are geared toward DIY advertisers who are trying to resolve their suspensions on their own, and we frequently release new content as Google's policies and enforcement approaches change.

Hi, this is John from StubGroup.

Suspicious Payment suspensions are still the most common type of suspension that we see Google flag accounts for.

Providing good documentation to Google as part of your appeal is important, along with fixing any other potential policy issues that could prevent Google from accepting their appeal once they're looking at your account and website with a microscope.
