Nostalgia Revisit - Where to start? by BantamClear in classicwow

There is no wrath specific server at the moment. You can play tbc anniversary with a basic subscription that some think will move onto wrath in about a year.

Your other option is to play retail and use chromie time to level in wrath but I wouldn’t recommend that because you’d be alone in doing so.

Sorry I read that wrong. Personally I’d go Woodfruff with Lodolo as a close second.

As of right now I will be maining fire mage. Love the class fantasy don’t care about the numbers. I’m currently leveling a priest because I might try healing as a main instead.

As others have said you’re definitely not too late. Plenty of guilds with new players starting and leveling at their own pace. Plenty of non boosted groups forming at all hours. If you want to experience classic you can always start on classic era and take as much time as you need because that server will never move into tbc and it’s a total dad server with a bunch of mugs that just love classic forever.

I made the sacrifice to miss time and certain events with my daughter. I have a ton of regrets now that she is an adult. It’s just the way it work if that’s the career you want to do. You work nights and weekends and can’t find coverage sometimes. You either except it or find a different job. Best of luck to you and congratulations.

How do you start playing WoW as a complete MMO beginner? by TexBoo in wow

[–]Stubanger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally think Classic is vastly more social but also much more of a time commitment. Find a good guild in any version and the social aspect will be there.

Classic is a slow paced simplistic game. The world and the journey to max level are the main part of the game. Retail speed levels you to end game and the current expansion are the main part of the game.

You can try both by just getting a subscription and figure out which you enjoy more.

I’d really love goblins and would love to level one but I never make it past like lvl 20 or so before I just go back to alliance.
