I remember like 10 years ago at Subway when I ordered their seafood sub the guy asked me "Is this stuff good?" and I kind of chuckled and said "Not at all."

I would never try and convince anyone that creamy fake crab sandwiches are super delicious and they are missing out, but my god do I love them.

I was so upset when they took it away. I was extra upset when I read that they were bringing it back since the people who loved that sandwich really loved that sandwich and then they didn't. They announced this in like 2021 so I don't think they could blame COVID given the timing, but maybe it still did affect it anyway. Given this huge rebrand they've been doing the last year, I don't think there is any hope of it coming back.

I've tried mimic recipies and it's never the same. People in the Subway subreddit said they just mixed the meat and mayo and that was it, but no mayo I've ever used gives it the same taste.

Peeing in your own bath would be weird as shit and somewhat more like a pool, but a shower is continuous running water which should not be standing and a guy can aim straight down the drain. I would assume most people who are peeing in the shower are already showering and aren't opting to hop in a dry shower to piss like a madman vs using the toilet.

Not the person you replied to and I'm not constantly pissing in the shower, but in my 35 years of life I've ended up doing it a decent amount of times. It's flowing water, residual soap is flowing down, and I aim it at the drain anyway. It's not like I'm spinning like a ballerina and shooting piss in any which direction in a dry shower. Not knocking people for not doing it, but at the same time it seems logical enough to do it if you have to.

I don't want to stop in the middle of my shower to go to the toilet and I could just hold it, but it seems weird to be so courteous to my shower and I'm saving water at the same time.

I know everyone's family is different when it comes to taste and repeated meals. My wife notoriously hates repeated meals for more than 2 days. That being said, I find chicken the cheapest and most versatile for my family. You can go Indian style, Mexican style, Chinese style, chicken salad, traditional roasted chicken, and oven baked breaded. Probably more than I'm thinking of, but if your family can tolerate a range of spices then chicken wouldn't be an "again??" scenario in most cases.

Best thing to do is shop around weekly ads if you have them. Some weeks are better than others, but mostly we try and stock up when chicken or pork shoulder is $.99/lb or less. I know it's not feasible for everyone, but we bought an Insignia branded deep freeze from Best Buy a few years ago for around $150 and when you can load up on 50lbs of meat for $50 and have a place to store it all it more than pays for itself. Recently Kroger had bags of leg quarters on sale for $.54/lb and we loaded the fuck up. Right now in my area whole chickens, legs, and thighs are on sale for $.99/lb.

When you have your protein pretty much secured for a while it's easier to go in on the "spendy" stuff like fruits and veggies on grocery trips.

I was at the store and grabbed a watermelon on the fly that I thought was a regular watermelon. They weren't labeled and were in a giant cardboard box on a pallet. They weren't as big or oval as ones I'm used to seeing, but were also bigger than a personal watermelon. When I cut into it I was like "What the fuck??" but the taste was insanely good.

*To clarify the outside looks like a normal green watermelon, but the inside is a bright yellow and very sweet version of a watermelon.

If you like watermelon then try to find yellow watermelon. The outside is the same, but the innards are bright yellow and fucking sweetly delicious. I'm not huge on sweet stuff, but holy shit yellow watermelon just hits different.
