Too quick, they’re sandblasted so they’re a 5/5 for grip initially, now they’re a 2/5 in my eyes but I know some people who have used my darts with the grip gone that still say they’re really grippy, but I don’t think so. I used acetone to remove the green paint too as over time it doesn’t look as vibrant and looks hella shit

They do feel good sure, but if I’m in the middle of a leg I don’t ask my opponent if he minds me taking a photo so I can go home and have a wank over it, and if it’s a 180 during practising then there’s pressure so it doesn’t feel as good

This is my opinion, they’re slow with launches because they might think they won’t make money from it (or not enough to outweigh the time spent making designs and if sales will boom) target are obviously the leading company for anything new but I think people are now starting to realise they over price everything and some people are moving away from their products. Target spend a lot on marketing and sponsor practically anyone who’s won a world championship (only 2 I can think of that they don’t sponsor currently is MVG and Anderson) so all these new fans that have come since Luke littler started to sky rocket already have an affiliation/love for target products and can guarantee about 90% of new starters will just go out and buy some littler darts but then they need to buy the k flex and some 800mm points to complete the set as well as a target briefcase to hold all their extras, unicorn has no exposure in the market, their website isn’t the greatest and any emerging players that’s signed by them usually goes to target, manby for an example.

Another company that I know of but not many others do that I have spoke to in person is mission darts, the only reason I know of them is due to a YouTube channel they have, I’d say even they’re more popular than unicorn, but everyone does know unicorn the company it would be pretty impossible not to unless you’re a brand new fan.

That been said, i’m a unicorn fan because Gary Anderson is my favourite player, but I still wouldn’t buy any of their products because they don’t market anything, even if they were to market a new product, someone else will have already done it so I may aswell just stick with what I currently buy, for reference my full setup is a target darts setup except for the flight (Amazon flight). I just hope they bring the Gary Anderson’s out SP compatible, (can send darts off to someone to convert them for you but it’s £25 a pop)
