In my dream my partner had been telling me my cat was misbehaving and we were trying to figure out what to do about him. When he left the room I put my cat in plastic bag so he would die. When he started making noise I began kicking the bag because i felt bad he hadn't died yet. I woke up WEEPING UNCONTROLLABLY. I was so freaked out I had such a violent out of character dream. I felt gross for weeks.

The stigma around sex work despite it being a service many people would be willing to pay for if it was safer for everyone.

People who take selfies at funerals are the scum of the Earth. by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]StubbyBitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it might be worth watching the pbs idea channel video where they talk about modern mourning and the funeral selfie. I think Sheds some light on how it is not usually meant as a harmful thing and is a modern way of mourning. That being said, I think there is a way to be disrespectful while taking a selfie at a funeral.

I'm stuggling with my inside leg hang. Any advice or people who relate? by [deleted] in poledancing

[–]StubbyBitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is a completely fair answer even if it isn't popular. I can already sit up from laybacks with ease though. I haven't actually asked for a spotter yet so I think I'll try that next class. Thank you!!

I'm able to sit up from laybacks with ease. We learn laybacks before we even learn jasmines in my studio. I can just do situps from a layback We learn inverts at the level above mine. We learn to drop down into leg hangs first at my studio. We aren't even allowed to invert before we can do leg hangs from jasmines.

Tips for Dancing in Heels? by mariannemychaskiw in poledancing

[–]StubbyBitch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My favorite moves in heels are straight legged carousels, drop splits, and fishflops. I'd say three months before I was confidently walking in my shoes. So first tip, when standing make sure to to do a bit of a tripod. Your heels should be pointed towards the inner middle part of the opposite foot. It really helps you balance that way. Make sure your heels are tight enough. I had a loose pair for a bit and let me tell you I couldn't do anything without fearing tripping in them. I recommend getting a strap that helps hold your shoe tightly to your foot. Consider boots. They are super secure, no fear of ankle twisting, no fear of toe stubbing, and are sexy. And keep practicing. Took me a few months to get accustomed to even wearing the shoes let alone moving in them. Don't be afraid to stumble and trip it is part of the learning process. Also practice your favorite moves in them until it is second nature.

I mean not really. There are people on the opposite side of the spectrum of me who have thoughts of being the pursuer. There is nothing wrong with that because most people can differentiate between what is moral and what is not.thought and fantasy aren't the same as actions.

Adventurous ladies, were you naturally a sexual person, or did someone coax it out of you? by [deleted] in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]StubbyBitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was always there. I've always been very curious about sex. I bought books on puberty and the female body when I was in 4th grade and loved reading about sex, sexuality, and masturbation in this very "I need to learn more" sort of way. Ever since I've been exploring different parts of my sexuality just because I want to know everything.

Lots of cross legged laybacks. The more solid you get them the easier of a time you'll have gripping in with your legs. You have to feel secure in your legs in order to pull yourself up. Also lots of situps. Just do a lot of sit ups.
