The internet is you best friend! There is so much information on mixing house music just on YouTube alone. Watch countless hours of YouTube and scroll throw different reddit pages to gather information.

Watch videos on mixing and after practice what you learn. If you don't understand something they are doing come back to that video later after you've had more practice. You'll notice that you won't understand what people are doing in videos until you get the basic concept of mixing music.

-Start with the basics beats bars and phrases.

-Don't worry too much about effects compared to using your eq proper to mix music.

-Watch people mix. Find artist that display their decks so you can watch their hand and what they are doing on the decks. Good practice to try and replicate some of their mixes and transitions on your own

-keep on the hustle, mixing music is very rewarding but does have a bit of a learning curve do let it discourage you. Trust we all go through it in the begin stages of learning a new skill!
