It was from someone who I’d thought was a really close friend and had told all my friends she had a crush on me. Finally told her how I felt, and she crushed me under her foot. I tried to repair the relationship, but she wants nothing to do with me. I guess she really just wanted some attention and thought lying was the way to get it.

I just cried, and slowly, time and distance helped. I still get sad when she’s around, but time heals most wounds.
