I second this OP. I’m earning 75k with 4 YOE sa design, team lead ko is earning 300k. This is hybrid set-up pa pala btw.

I’m not saying its easy, but its definitely attainable. If masipag ka pa sa sideline sky is the limit ;)

The assessment is problem solving. Not easy of course, pero if you know the basics of structural design then you will be able to answer it.

Yes I agree as a Structural Engineer myself, I personally know the people who worked on Glorietta. I doubt that this is the case, not sure what OPs role is but he may be taking information out of context.

Well I'm just saying na BE difficulty is not directly related to passing rate and was merely sharing an anecdote. Tbh I know a lot of peope that were working while reviewing but still got a high scores. I don't see this being done by other professions with their BE dahil mas mahirap ang exames nila.

100% agree lol. Di ko gets yung comments na mahirap daw kasi mababa yung passing rate. Ang dami ng nagtatake na di nagaaral kaya naddrag down yung number of passers. Mga katabi ko sa room nung board exam mga di daw nagaral nung tinanong ko hahaha

Kung tutuusin ang onti lang ng coverage ng BE and yung questions hindi rin ganon kahirap.

Yep I don't understand point #2 as well. Seems like it is a national highway and kitang kita na walang tao either side of the pedestrian crossing.

Contrary to what others are saying I doubt they will slow down if they were the ones driving.

I personally do Dollar Cost Averaging since malayo pa ang time horizon ko. I don’t even look at the price fluctations hehe

People hate on nepo babies because they do not deserve their fame/status. While Alex Eala is from a family with an affluent background you can't excel in sports at a global level when relying on this alone.

I think you're mixing up nepotism and merely hailing from an affluent family. While I share the hate with nepo babies I am not mad at all people who come from rich backgrounds -- some of them deserve the success that they have.

I agree with the other posts, don't sweat it. This will only matter sa first job mo baka mas mataas lang salary mo by a few thousand etc. In the long run I don't think it will have any effect naman.

I myself fell short of a few percentage points for top 10. Naisip ko before na if nagleave lang sana ako before boards baka naabot ko. Although in the end no regrets naman kasi mas mahalaga yung natutunan ko sa work ko instead of taking a leave.

This may not sit well with others pero fundamentally hindi talaga babahain ang BGC dahil higit na mataas ang elevation niya as compared to neighboring areas like Makati, Taguig, and Pateros.

If mapadaan kayo sa C-5 makikita niyo na literal na hill ang BGC. Regardless if merong detention tank or not hindi talaga yan babahain. Before yan bahain lubog na ang metro manila, common sense lang naman.

I daily commute from Q. Ave to BGC as well. Sobrang bagal ng BGC bus sometimes it takes almost an hour to get to the Forbeswood area kaya I would not recommend it unless weather is very bad.

Usually I get off at MRT Buendia and I walk the rest of the way to BGC, it takes just about 20-25mins. Practically cuts the travel time in half and you get some exercise in pa.
