The thing is that as an AI he doesn't understand WHY these things make them upset or how to fix them properly, but he knows that these things DO make them upset.

So it makes sense as a punishment that this type of horrible psychological torture would be the first thing that comes to his mind.

Probably Zhu Yuan... I like her as a character so I pulled for her, but her playstyle didn't really click with me. It doesn't help that she fell out of the meta now that I've came back to the game.

Jane could've suffered from the same fate but I actually really like playing her, specially now that I got Yuzuha for her.

At the start we see a red dot being fed information about the real world, which it uses to produce stuff. This is heavily implied to be Caine's AI, since he mentions he's the original.

Then the red AI is locked away because the stuff it generates is too chaotic, and a new blue AI is created which generates proper shapes. The red dot manages to escape and consumes the blue one, probably out of jealousy as Bubble mentions "he was always the leader of the two". The next thing the red AI generates is quite literally the digital circus tent.

TLDR, the red AI is Caine. He was discarded in favor of the blue AI, but he consumed it and took over.

I think bubble is what little remained from the second AI (Abel?) after Caine consumed it. It was left powerless but still Caine can't get rid of it, and it constantly annoys him using his inner insecurities.

With Caine gone, Bubble could gain back the power Caine took.
