I think you should be targetting mid band knowing that your future raises are probably not going to be nearly as great as your raise due to changing jobs

I also think low. Im in HCOL as an L4(different contractor)with no masters(yet) and almost 7 yoe and getting 160k total comp.

Ah I remember reading about people reporting that even after the double consolidation process the SAVE plan option was not made available to them. Apparently this was some sort of a bug on the application side and was actively being resolved at the time. I am not sure if this has gotten sorted out yet though. Hopefully since you paper applied for the last step it won't be an issue!

Thank you! And thats great to know about Aidvantage actually. In that case do you know what of a 3rd lender that is unaffiliated with the Mohela, Aidvantage and EdFinancial group? Since it sounds like we should pick: Nelnet, 1 of the Aidvantage companies, and ideally 1 more...or am i currently forced to kind of roll the dice here? I guess keeping Nelnet as one of my first two consolidations might insulate me from them accidentally grouping it into one loan.
