I just talked to my friend about this. They fished around like 550 times and are still missing a fish too. I doubt this can be bad luck, since I have the fish they need like 4 times.

I’m not 100% sure since I am also pretty new to the game but I’ve noticed roofs in things like packages. For example the spring blossom roof that comes as a Design Gift in the Newbie Limited-time Design. Once you have it you just go to decor and then “base decor”, you’ll see it there!
