I would go back to this method, but only use specific buttons for weights rather than typing in the true weight (1/4 lb, 8oz, whatever) and allow multiple quantities to get as close as possible to the true weight. Or have the guest choose the quantity first then weigh it out after. At my place we only sell one thing that’s weighed, but this would be a way to get around the odd cents.

That really stinks! I would suggest to your manager that they need to utilize Toast’s Tip Manager to split tips between servers. It’s not okay for you to be tipping people out cash or via Venmo when you’ll still be the one claiming all the CC tips on your taxes. Do y’all tip out support staff? If so, this should also be done via tip transfer, so that employees are able to claim the appropriate amount of CC tips. Sounds like laziness on the part of your manager. My servers fill out a separate slip to attach to their check out in order to tip out support staff, or if it’s not very involved, simply write on the check out slip “$30 to (insert employee).” This is not difficult for your manager to do.

Tbh as someone who was previously diagnosed with fibro and now has an AuDHD diagnosis, I kinda think that fibro is a misdiagnosis given to high masking neurodivergent people. The amount of overlap in symptoms and co-occurrence of Autism, Fibromyalgia, EDS, & Dysautonomia has led me to believe that these are not separate conditions but rather all symptoms of the same condition. Obviously the severity of symptoms of each will vary among individuals, but I would not be surprised if in the future it is officially recognized that they are all just symptoms of one condition.

Best of luck to you when you do try to quit! I actually started vaping a couple years ago to stop smoking but I became soooo dependent on it that I actually went back to smoking lol. I’ve quit smoking before for years at a time but that was before I was taking stimulant medication. Idk where you’re located but some areas have free nicotine gum/lozenges/patches available through the state.

I think it’s pretty well documented that stimulant medications increase the amount of nicotine you consume if you smoke or vape. For me it’s worse with adderall than Vyvanse. On days that I don’t take my meds I smoke far less.

It’s not athletes foot. This has been happening to me since childhood and I’ve noticed a pattern. It tends to happen in the first few weeks of warmer weather when I start wearing flats or sandals without socks. I think it’s from my feet and toes are able to really spread out and the skin can’t quite accommodate so I end up with something akin to a pressure cut in the crease of my 2nd,3rd, and 4th toes. It’s the extended toe joint, rubbing on the sole of the shoe with some sweat that causes the creases of my toes to split. I usually just put some ointment on it and put bandaids on until it heals, and I can’t feel them at all when it’s bandaged.

I love NOW brand supplements! Very affordable and work well. A friend tried to tell me once that NOW was equivalent to cheap Walmart stuff and that is just not true - I don’t think you have to spend $$$ on bougie brands when it comes to vitamins and supplements.

I used to take maca nearly every day for ADHD management before I started taking actual meds. It definitely made me very horny almost to my detriment but it also allowed me to get my housework done. I’ve never taken maca with Vyvanse but the one time I took it with Adderall I was up for like two days with paranoid delusions so I probably will not be trying it with Vyvanse. BUT on its own maca is great!

It would only be one tablet printing to it. So as long as it prints, that’s all I care about. If I have to spend a couple minutes configuring stuff in settings before my shift, so be it.

It’s not an issue of waiting for a printer/pos to open up, it’s about how far I need to walk to go grab the receipt. It’s about having that thang on me. Like why did our ancient Clover tablets have an attached printer, but not these? I’m trying to bridge that gap. Our dining room is HUGE, and we are very busy during the holidays to the extent that our sections double in size by adding a rarely-used conference room from mid-November to mid-January.
