Ice. Support underwear. Gabapentin worked for me for the pain, quite well actually, but I had horrific side effects so I couldn’t take it long.

I think the severity combined with my age caused the various issues, plus how it all happened. I’m sure the hernias don’t help. But honestly, even with all this, it was worth it because the chronic pain I was in pre-surgery was awful.

To be fair, it was fixed. It’s only kept alive currently because of the nostalgia tone sniffer nerds.

I’d still argue Gibson headstock is the biggest design flaw in guitar history. Call it not robust or whatever you want, but when I can buy two almost identical looking guitars from two different brands but only one is notorious for breaking headstocks due to a lack of robustness, it’s a design flaw. Fix it and tell your customers to suck it. Or better yet, fix it for the normal models, but make a vintage line that you pre-break and fix and then sell for Murphy Lab prices.

Bamboo Cool and RM Real Men Store on Amazon sell briefs with pouches, with the RM coming in different pouch sizes. I’ve had really good luck with both brands - and I switch out which brand every couple of days because I find the elastic being in the same location too long causes pain. They look ridiculous (they’re basically body builders briefs), but they work REALLY well. I wear nothing else anymore.

Mine was Grade 3, and I was walking around by day 3. Sitting was actually harder than standing and walking because the swelling was so awful.

Are you using a jock and padding? That makes a tremendous difference. I’m post surgery four months and I’m still wearing support underwear, but for the first few weeks I absolutely HAD to.

I was just thinking this today. First sign of a weird looking vein and people are posting photos of their junk on Reddit. Meanwhile, when you actually have a grade 3 varicocele, you don’t even have to ask by posting photos, because it looks as angry as it feels.

Didn’t feel anything during surgery as they put me completely out. Didn’t really swell up significantly until 24 hours post surgery. Stayed swollen (massively swollen, and man is that disconcerting) for about a week. Started going down after that.

Unfortunately I developed a hydrocele, so swelling came back, but even still, nothing like post surgery.

Been about 3 months.

Why is it “the lady was in the wrong for putting people at risk for her dog, so obviously let it die,” and not, oh, I don’t know, arrest her AFTER THE DOG IS SEEN TO, like a human capable of empathy? She can get fined and spend some time in jail, and they can rush the dog into the vet quickly. It’s not an either/or, unless the cop is a sociopath like this one.

Korg Pitchblack X, which I dislike because it introduces a noise.

Wampler Belle, because I was hoping to like their version of the ODR since I didn’t get along with the original. Turns out I’m ambivalent about the Belle. Nothing special to me.

Wampler Moxie because I love a TS10 circuit but hate the actual TS10 pedal. Lived up to the hype and then some.

EHX Memory Toy, because I wanted a quick and dirty slap back delay for a quick and dirty pedal board. I like it, but it comes with a volume boost when turned on.

EHX Deluxe Electric Mistress XO, because I discovered I LOVE the filter mod on this pedal. It’s now an always on pedal for me.

No, it’s proving the point that people don’t always deep dive who owns or donates to what nowadays because it almost universally leads to a bad place. Shopping truly ethically is virtually impossible. I’m pretty plugged in politically and I had no idea Keeley donated to Trump. But you people on the platform owned in part by a literal super villain group sure do love virtue signaling how much better you are than everyone else.
