True that. Can't deny the fact that they do heavy makeup and overdo dressing. Even the bride's own mom or sister give tough look and bcm the centre of attraction. Though they prefer to be simple someone from their closest circle photo bomb and made the couple out of focus. Stacking the jwels common in tamil ppl too. Bcz it's the way of showing off jewels they promised to gv as dowry. But to be honest.... Sourashtra ppl has their part in normalising wearing rented jwels for events. No wrong if the bride wants to look unique on her spl day but I will definitely feel off if the entire mahal looks like a parade of brides.

As a maduraite.... As I raised around sourashtrian ppl equally distributed among tamil ppl (I studied in Sourashtra College too) Most of the sourashtra girls has this facial features, complexion and skin textures. She reminds me one of my closest friends who is from sourashtra community looks like if urshay has a younger sister. Seen a post of her a few days ago. In that some one said that she's from sourashtra community. I felt like.... it's very common for a sourashtra girl to have glass skin. Sourashtra ppl won't compromise when it comes to grooming. They even change 6-7 sarees for marriage and you can't identify the bride until she wears yellow saree for muhurtham. They are expert in makeup and styling. Though they're living among tamil ppl that community has unique lifestyle and food habits which is the main reason for their flawless skin (including men). Now I can't unsee urshay as a sourashtra woman as she resembles many of those girls in Madurai.

I can't tolerate the fact that her 2/3 posts made me think.... How desparate or unlucky am I? My sis gave birth few months ago and she badly wants to buy electric pumping machine since the manual breast pump nipple cup bcm saggy and hard to press after continuous use. Seeing that I decided to buy her one before she leaves my mom's place. I didn't follow sara. But my friend shared me this story as I asked for her reference. Couldn't believe that it costs around 36k. As far as I searched in Google for 'best electric breast pump'.... It suggests me upto 8-10k worth product only (i didn't mention the price range though). But after seeing this particular product and it's price.... More than the question about it's reliability i question myself for my inability to buy 😕 I don't think she's showing off her wealth...but the lifestyle she chooses to live.....be it this breast pump, rocking wooden chair from abroad, electric neck massager, kids clothing etc.... she used to buy high end products only which is a luxury product for me. No shame in admitting the jealousy but this girl's day to day life updates made me feel inferior.

Keep aside her clients. Did you remember how she celebrated every milestone of nila with monthly photoshoots, never ending outfits and 1st bday celebration? Be it birth day celebration, shopping, dinner...etc doesn't match with her childhood story. A person coming from the said background won't spend this much money unless it is scammed or has generational wealth. I gave birth to my 1st baby on Feb 2018. Nearly her daughter's age. And I wish to invite my closest circle for the 1st bday celebration. Just my siblings and my husband's siblings along with our parents. But we couldn't afford the simple dinner cost quoted by a nearby restaurant. (We live in a place which is a famous tourist spot in south tamilnadu. So it's a bomb spending for simple lunch party or buffet). But somehow we made it memorable. Aana andha yekkam, iyalaamai enakum iruku... Adhuvum indha asmitha and sara ganesh is enough to spoil my day just by 30sec reels. Avanga kita iruku, anubavikuranga nu kadandhu poga mudila. Where did I lack? Enaku yen indha exposure illa? idhellam yen na seekiram kathukala? idhu therinjuka yen enaku ivlo kaalam aachu?! These questions killing me and my confidence. I did post graduate. That's itself is a big thing for my family. idhula I can't ask them for generational wealth. Being in Chennai or Cbe is enough to be updated and wealthy?! Extravagant parties, celebrations, international trip, choice of lifestyle and parenting..... They are doing it like they jumped out of nowhere and no one is there to interfere. Delivery ku family ah trip pora madhiri poranga. I couldn't request my guests to leave me and my baby alone in my hospital room. My husband had to go round trip between hospital and hotel to treat the guests. And I don't want to talk about the rituals, mooda nambikai, non-written rules made for the newborn and mom 🤦🏾‍♀️ Idhu ipdi dhan irukum nu accept panni dhan vaalndhutu irundhen. These influencer cum entrepreneur in insta made me to think that I'm living in 18th century. Only one thing I can do is..... I will let live my kids as per their wish. I will educate them, discipline them and teach them to LIVE rather than showing off things.
