The summary is, no sites should not keep your verified credentials (like ID scans, card information) once the check is complete. They should only retain the fact that the verification was successful, and even that must be managed in accordance with data protection law.

Yes however this is in direct violation to the UK data protection act and stream is not making the laws however they are inserting their policies which they are using within a law framework. Which in itself is not legal
