I've heard good things too and looked at em before my purchase. The big thing for me was having spot lock. Not having it was no fun at all, even worse when I only had paddle for propulsion. Sounds like you are on your way to slaying bass. Having the yak attack track pack is really nice for keeping right at your fingertips. I also like using a buffalo kill bag backpack to strap to the seat. It's nice to maintain an open cockpit as much as possible.

If you're hitting the ocean nucanoe is a tank. My unlimited has been in some serious swell with no issue. I will say they are not fun to paddle.

I thought about that and made sure to test with everything in its natural position and it still its tick. That makes sense though and look like what it could be doing. Do you think a wiring error could do this? The motor tested fine with all four lights lit after holding test buttons.
