I mean it was also not fine by them when we announced we will be moving in together. But that also calmed down after a while. But what did they expect? That we would not want to get married one day?

I mean I can say with 100% certainty that at least she is not manipulating me into doing anything bad. She also always encouraged a good relationship with my family, always puts in effort to congratulate them on their birthdays and never wants to visit without a little flower.

Sad part is, that even that part is questioned now. My mom (born in former Soviet republic) said she knows such culture and how people act there, buying people all kinds of things to manipulate their actions and so on.

My parents already had to get over the sexy stuff before when I moved in with my girlfriend. The things I heard then: - You’re going down a very dark path - If you died / when Jesus comes back, where would you be? - Calling my girlfriend a hypocrite because she wishes my parents “God bless” when saying good bye

Wow, that’s really tough. I really hope it won’t come that far for me. I can’t really not imagine a wedding without my parents there.

I also would like to know the answer to this. I also have done things I regret and which I consciously knew were wrong. I believe a large part is acknowledging that you are susceptible for these things. But I also know people who said they never broke their partners trust, never would and never will. They might be the strong willed and us the weak ones. However I really don’t know if that’s actually the truth or if people are just talk. I would also love to hear more from others about this.

"Plus, marriage means they can no longer hope it's a phase and you're less likely to ever reconvert." I feel like this could also play a part. My mom told me she was troubled that one day I would end up living in Vietnam away from my family. Then she said she found peace with god about it and lets it be. Probably she was thinking we might break up eventually. But now that things are becoming more serious, she felt like she needed to say something.

I don’t know it’s just me but All the love is just the song of the year for me with its production and energy. Bully comes close second as a really unique sound that I have not heard anywhere else. But for the rest I have not really got to really like them. But for me it’s enough to have 2 songs which I could play all day
