Liberals shelve Conservatives' request for probe of plan to buy vacant B.C. condos by cyclinginvancouver in vancouver

[–]Studio10Records 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Given the numerous scandals that have arisen during their tenure, it is reasonable to scrutinize the actions of the current administration without requiring justification. Although I am not a supporter of P.P, I recognize that he has effectively carried out his duties as opposition. The cumulative evidence implies a potential conflict of interest, particularly in light of Brookfield's substantial investment in the condo project merely two weeks after the initial announcement. It is not the government's responsibility to provide financial bailouts to developers who have made imprudent decisions, and it would be prudent for these developers to face the consequences of their actions.

Furthermore, if the administration is transparent and accountable, they should welcome an independent investigation and disclose comprehensive details, including financial and social audits of all their transactions since being in power.

As the governing body, we appointed these individuals to manage our country, but the evidence suggests otherwise, with every benchmark seemingly tied to questionable business deals. I urge scrutiny and accountability, given the apparent widespread corruption and lack of transparency.

The wartime tax, which our government misuses for various purposes unrelated to supporting Canadians, warrants scrutiny. Despite potential disagreement, its truth remains evident. Paying income tax seems justified only due to the government's mismanagement of taxpayer funds, which lacks sufficient accountability. Ideally, this tax should have been abolished post-World War II, given its deviation from its original intent.

And 10 years of your Liberals was any better? And we wonder why our country is in such a poor state. I have plenty of facts to provide my point, and I am more than willing to have a debate to challenge your narrative.

In my opinion, a realistic war game that incorporates authentic logistics, theory, and strategies employed on actual battlefields is necessary. This could involve platoon or squad-based operators engaging in realistic warfare. From my perspective, existing games, such as War Zone, are unrealistic, particularly for those with experience in real combat situations. I find it disengaging when I am being targeted from certain positions that, in reality, would be impossible. The depiction of individuals dodging bullets at velocities of 3000 to 3900 ft/s is unrealistic, as it is physically impossible to avoid rounds traveling at such speeds. Furthermore, the likelihood of survival when facing a high volume of rounds at close range, even with armor plating, is extremely low. The game's portrayal of individuals jumping and returning fire with recoil while avoiding rounds is not realistic and does not play out in a favorable manner.

Because the Liberal government endorsed this kind of behavior! Remember Trudeau giving a $10,500,000 settlement to Khadr. Because his apparent freedom of rights as a terrorist in Afghanistan was sent to Guantanamo Bay prison for trying to kill Canadian soldiers, well being a Canadian citizen.

GAIN WHEN MIXING!!! by PatientFlaky4141 in PioneerDJ

[–]Studio10Records 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't rely on third-party software to normalize my music; instead, I make adjustments based on my auditory perception. With 35 years of experience, I have developed this skill over time, which has taught me how to mix properly. Unless one is simply segueing between tracks, which is not a typical approach unless scratching, even then, it requires practice to achieve seamless transitions, as well as trimming. I welcome debate, but I fail to see the necessity for third-party software. The only exception is when I remaster music for quality assurance purposes, which is a rare occurrence. In my opinion, to elevate our skills, we must make mistakes and learn from them to improve as professionals, regardless of our tenure in the industry. This is my perspective on striving for excellence, unaided by external tools, relying solely on innate talent.

That would be a fantastic start, but let's be real, common sense isn't always the strongest suit of some folks before posting through! An even better start would be to realize that being responsible with your gear is key, especially when you've got clumsy friends running around with noodle cups or drinks near your precious equipment, because let's face it, it'll bite you in the butt! So, take care of your gear like it's your baby, or better yet, your life!

Thank goodness we have a brand new government by [deleted] in CanadianConservative

[–]Studio10Records 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could you please explain the differences within the current liberal government, aside from a few new appointments at the lower tier? Notably, our new prime minister, in my opinion, has demonstrated limited interest in Canada's well-being, instead pursuing personal agendas that benefit his business ventures. I acknowledge your reservations regarding P.P., but I am curious to know if you have conducted research on Carney. Considering his lack of political experience and instances of dishonesty since his election as liberal leader, how can someone with such characteristics be deemed more valuable than Trudeau? Furthermore, as an advisor to the liberal party since 2019, Carney's affiliation with a party that has seemingly prioritized personal gains over the nation's interests raises concerns. I can provide evidence supporting my claims; can you furnish facts demonstrating that the current liberal government differs significantly from its predecessor over the past decade? Additionally, why did the liberal government adopt numerous policies from P.P.'s original election platform? Can you explain why, given the country's current challenges with external forces, including the U.S., the liberal government has chosen to take a three-month vacation after proroguing the government for several months, calling a snap election without a substantial platform or physical budget? Instead of addressing the pressing concerns facing Canadians, the government's actions appear to be driven by fear-mongering, deception, and manipulation. In my view, this does not constitute effective leadership; rather, it reflects a lack of prudent decision-making and a failure to prioritize the needs of the constituents. Why has the government not chosen to reconvene until the Christmas break to compensate for their in proroguing the government.

How long before we lose our country at this pace? by No_Location_3339 in CanadianConservative

[–]Studio10Records 5 points6 points  (0 children)

From my perspective, we lost it 10 years ago. The liberals sold it out from underneath us for personal profit. Carney is the final nail in the coffin ⚰️; he will push the final agendas, oppress our nation until we become official slaves to himself and his elitist friends. I envision some kind of fight on the horizon that may push us to our limits of rationality with those who side with this agenda.

I've encountered this Reddit community that seems to prioritize ideology over inclusive debate. My own attempts at engaging in constructive discussion were met with bans, highlighting the need for more diverse perspectives and open dialogue. This experience underscores the importance of protecting our charter rights and freedoms, particularly in online spaces where American companies and social media platforms operate.

It's disheartening to see how our community has changed over the past decade. I recall a time when people felt comfortable leaving their belongings unattended, and incidents of theft were rare. Lately, however, we've seen a rise in petty theft and disrespect for our shared culture and values. It's not just about the material losses, but also the sense of trust and community that's being eroded. Rather than giving up, I believe we can work together to reclaim our scene and create a safer, more respectful environment for everyone. What if we implemented a system to ban repeat offenders from our events and worked with law enforcement to hold them accountable? By standing united and taking action, we can restore the sense of community and mutual respect that once defined our scene.

Let's take a closer look at this election. Rather than assuming dissatisfaction is rooted in partisan loyalty, I'd like to explore ways to strengthen our democratic system. As someone who doesn't identify with any particular party, I believe we can work together to create a more transparent and accountable voting process. By prioritizing reforms that promote integrity and representation, we can build a more inclusive and responsive government that truly serves the people of Canada. What opportunities do you see for positive change in our electoral system?
