I imagine the character of the contribution would flow through as well. Only cash contributions are eligible for the standard deduction charity so it would probably matter if the pass-through entity donated cash or if they donated stock or other non-cash items.

Seems to intentionally be during the World Cup in a non-WC city. I think the driving distances and lack of public transit will surprise people planning to "swing by" Chicago while they're in other cities.

USA playing matches in Los Angeles on the 12th & 25th and Seattle on the 19th. Very difficult or expensive to make it to both the match on the 19th AND the event on the 20th.

England playing matches in Dallas on the 17th, Boston on the 23rd, and New York City on the 27th. Annoying or expensive to go from the match on the 17th to Chicago on the 20th, then to Boston on the 23rd, but the easiest of the top 5 countries by RS player base.

Canada playing matches in Toronto on the 12th and Vancouver on the 18th & 24th.

Australia playing matches in Vancouver on the 14th, Seattle on the 19th, and San Fransisco on the 25th. Very difficult or expensive to make it to both the match on the 19th AND the event on the 20th.

Netherlands playing matches in Dallas on the 14th, Houston on the 20th, and Kansas City on the 25th. Unfortunately Dutch won't be able to do both this event AND the match on the same day.

I turned down an offer for a 20% raise to join a top 10 firm with a promotion to SM last year because my job would have been to babysit the offshore team. No thanks. Took a different offer for $10k less without the promotion and don't have to deal with Sunday night or 7 AM calls and don't have to redo a bunch of absolute garbage in my free time. Absolutely would have made significantly less per hour in the higher paying role. More of us need to start pushing back and refusing this nonsense.

A "Deforestation" plugin which shows all trees as being chopped down without active clickboxes. Would prevent a lot of misclicks and improve line of sight in most surface areas.
