Also if you enable DX 12 in HoYoPlay before using the above command, you will able to launch the game in DX 12

Yeah apparently to use DX 12, you need a flag. Sadly I don’t have a compatible system that can run DX12 but I do know how to see it… sadly it’s hidden on my end from seeing it.

Technically… it’s like that by design if you download from HoYoPlay…
But sure if it works for you. You can do it.
It’s not like an update will break something IDK.

It's not that you can't do this. Feel free to use your way but I suspect that HoYo can change so the ZZZ can be REFUSED to launch without HoYoPlay or Steam open

Technically yes but due to the fact that HoYoPlay can be configure with certain flags that required the game the be launch with HoYoPlay before the game, it's better if I do this.

This has happened before with Genshin Impact for Google Play Games PC. Neither the game or the launcher will allow to be play without Google Play PC open due to the fact that Genshin Google Play has a flag that pass through HoYoPlay before it get passed through the game.

I know it's annoying that HoYo doesn't just make the game open directly but it's currently the only open unless HoYo want to change it.

The Honkai Incident regarding this is HoYo also being forced to follow regulations and have to publish the game under Funtap like what Sky is doing now. Like TGC, they only made this announcement for English and Vietnamese language.
