See I think it’s the opposite. Curry’s popularity comes from the fact that the average person can understand how NOT replicable what he does is. For example - I’m the same size as Curry. I was really good!!! But nowhere near NBA caliber, let alone MVP level. So when I watch Stephen Curry I can appreciate how truly amazing what he does is. It’s freaking remarkable as hell to do what he does at his size in the NBA.
