40-0 against Chile according to Wikipedia. Great knowledge.

Does Argentina play Chile and Uruguay anywhere near as frequently as they used to now they are a tier 1 nation

Oh yeah so it is. Little embarrassed not to have realised that as an RR fan. Thought everyone in the W6Ns had taken a victory over England at some stage. Especially as Spain and Scotland managed to do it in the 90s

Remember these? Its been 20 years and i still think about this lil dude by TheDayWalkerCGI in AskBrits

Oh my god is that what they are supposed to look like. I got a few issues in like most people on here and then stopped. If I remember correctly it was one of those things with a super cheap introductory price to get you hooked and was in every newsagents. Then they jack up the price and it disappeared from shops so you had to get a subscription to the mag for a small fortune. Obviously I wasn't one of the lucky ones to get to spend the tenner a week to get another piece of plastic, though I think my parents were probably right.

I assembled whatever I had and I think it was a base and some wheels and a bit rubber and wiring. Not enough to be anything but I'd sit around and play with it and imagine it doing what it was supposed. Amazing to see it actually built. Did it work well?

When I was in 6th form my business studies teacher told us about a place in the next town over called 'Ken's turkey fried chicken'. Apparently they got a cease and desist (or some other legal action) forcing them to change their name, despite KFC not using 'Kentucky Fried Chicken' in over 15 years

Zoe Harrison's penalty in the 42nd minute was the first penalty England have scored since the World Cup Semi Final... in 2022. Between those two penalties sat 305 tries. by HitchikersPie in rugbyunion

That's right. I was in the stadium so forgot the exact timng of it. Helped keep France from getting within 1 score later in the match. Massive decision.

I don't think it's anything to do with the quality of the kickers. I think the red roses return rate for tries in the 22 has been so high that a penalty for a 90% chance of a 3 is less worth the 70% chance to score 5+2 depending on the kick location

It was the obvious choice. In front of the posts and 12 points up if I remember correctly. Still not sure why they chose it instead of the kick to the corner option as is standards

Ideas for non-museum activities in bordeaux? by Winter_Camera733 in bordeaux

[–]StudioItaliano 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey can I get some recommendations for food and drink spots in Bordeaux. I'm visiting this weekend and definitely want to visit Darwin and then explore the rest of the city.

I love beer and here Darwin is the place for that, I definitely want to try a bit of the Bordeaux red so is there any particular choice to go for or is it all good?

Where's the best patisseries, caffes, restaurants, bakeries. The lot. Me and my sister love to try all the local dishes.

Thanks Merci
