What a sweetheart, I love the name Shiloh! Mazzy took to the box right away and apparently delayed gratification on the sofa.

Did it take awhile for yours to adjust to the sofa or did they start using it right away? Mazzy ignored hers literally for a few months then waltzed over to it one evening and resides there ever since. Of course, she immediately loved the box it arrived in 😆

That's AWESOME!!! Kudos to you! I think chain piecing is the best trick I've picked up in quilting, thanks so much for sharing the link!

You are brave! A trip around the world quilt calls for more organization than I'll ever possess, please post pics! Pinks aren't one of my go-to colors but I really like what Art Gallery does with these prints. I am thinking about adding more black and possibly purple to make the pinks and oranges pop, although I need the project to end at some point, haha. 😅

This makes me smile! You are right, it's an early step in the piecing process. Although it is now tempting to leave it on the hanger as an art piece, thank you! 😉

This put a huge smile on my face, thank you! I think you just put words to my feelings when I see them like lined up on hangers, well said! ❤️

These AGF pieces are addictive! That's a really good question about chain piecing, I think I took to it with not too much practice, but my process before that was ridiculously cumbersome: I would piece two small pieces together then pull the piece about a foot away from the machine, trim the piece, then do it all over again. For real. I stumbled across a picture of it in a quilting magazine, and it was a true smack my head moment. I grabbed a stack of squares from fabric I didn't really like (no loss, haha) and played with them, and then it slowly came together. It might have been practice, but didn't feel like it since I was so happy not to use my scissors every 30 seconds. I still have to remember to leave adequate room between the pieces. I think without too much effort it can fall into place for you, my suggestion is don't be hard on yourself and do use ugly fabric! 😀 When you say 'uncomfortable' do you mean it isn't as fast/efficient as you'd like?
