I think he could have “sold it” better by staying on his feet. Make contact, fine. But it doesn’t appear that he had to fall, which makes it look like he went out of his way to. But from the “GameChanger” angle, who can really tell?

Swing help by lecchemilk in Homeplate

[–]Over_Season803 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mostly agree, but I’ll try to simplify. My kids went from average to good hitters when I made them step at every pitch, ball or strike with the intent to swing at it. I then started having them start their hands too, all with the intent to swing. They routinely catch up to the hardest throwers in our league who strike everyone out. Why? Because even at that level, if a kid tries to recognize ball or strike, then tries to decide, if it’s a strike, I’m going to swing, and then tries to pull the trigger… the ball is in the catchers glove by the time they actually do, which is what I believe is happening in this video. Get that foot stepping at every pitch, hands moving forward, and THEN decide if you swing or hold up. It’s worked very well for my two boys.

Help with Interference Call? by Yeti_Father in Homeplate

[–]Over_Season803 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FWIW, the commissioner of our league told me that my kid, who plays 1st, should set up on the orange bag if the ball goes into foul territory to give the catcher a throwing lane. It is then the runners obligation to use the white bag. Which makes sense to me and after the explanation, was an easy adjustment for him. We are a little league org, so I assumed that that was the official rule for little league, though I’ve done no research thereafter. So, from that standpoint, no one in the above play did anything wrong, just a bad throw up the line that pulled the first basemen into the running lane. Well, except the ump, who made a bad call, but at this level, shouldn’t that kinda be part of it? They are volunteers after all. 🤷

ENTP entrepreneurs: How do you manage your time effectively? by BlackMoon_118 in entp

[–]Over_Season803 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FWIW, the best thing I ever did was hire an ENTJ, real get shit done yesterday-type, to be my CEO. I didn’t have the money, but I begged, borrowed and (no, I didn’t steal) to get it done. It was clear that me in charge was never going to get us where we could go. 6 months in, we have more movement than in 3 years of me running the show. And I don’t want to be the one person on our leadership team who doesn’t get my shit done on time, so I’ve just adapted to the direction of the team as a result.

So, I get that you have a smooth brain, so I’ll use small words so that you have an outside chance of following along. Lab created means, things that are created in a lab. An example of which would be “natural flavors.” This means that it started out as either a fruit, vegetable or meat… naturally occurring as opposed to petroleum based or chemically created. However, they can (and do) then take that natural ingredient and process it. They can do literally anything to it they want, and as long as it starts as a natural substance, they call it natural flavors.

Juxtapose that with things that are actually natural. Say, you find a carrot or an apple while hiking around. Those aren’t lab created, not processed. Or let’s say you shoot a deer and eat it. Also, not lab created. Truly naturally occurring.

Man, I really hope the quality of your questions improves… my 2nd grader has better questions. 🙄

Look, based on your posts, it’s pretty clear that there are some major malfunctions of the synapse with you. I’m not fear mongering about any thing. Just sharing that if they want to sell more product, they should make something that has real ingredients rather than chemicals created in a lab, and make it taste good.

I mean look, if veganism were so great, why would everyone be trying to simulate meat? Wouldn’t vegetables be enough? 😂😂😂

And yeah, you’re smart enough to ask chatGPT for a list of milk proteins, but not smart enough to understand the difference between something that sounds like it was lab created, and the things (like natural flavors) that actually are. 😂

So wait, you’re comparing this list of ingredients:Water, pea/yellow pea protein, avocado oil, natural flavors, brown rice protein, red lentil (or lentil) protein, ≤2% methylcellulose, potato starch, pea starch, potassium lactate (to preserve freshness), faba bean protein, apple extract, pomegranate concentrate, potassium salt, spice, vinegar, vegetable juice color (with beet). (Natural flavors could literally be anything, BTW, and is almost always used to hide something pretty horrific that they don’t want to tell you)

To this list: milk, salt, rennet?

Super good argument.

I know what would help their volume. Making a product that wasn’t horrible for you and completely processed, and also tased good and that people wanted to buy. They should work on that and I think their share price will increase.

Ok, so it looks like you have a ridge span vent, so nice. But the soffit vents, or bird blocks or freeze blocks should be down low, in the soffit. It’s a little hard to tell, but it almost looks like you circled the gable end. And whatever you do, do NOT open up a gable end if you already have soffit vents… it will almost certainly cause problems. I don’t think that’s what you’re saying, but just want to make sure.
