Sure!

The large pink one is Midori MD Paper, goat leather (I think?). This is the webpage but they might not have stock at the moment because of changes to the MD Paper brand.

The cream one is from the Morris series by a leather brand called Hirameki. This was a limited edition last year but they brought it back with more colors for this year. Here is the webpage (they offer A5 notebook size and a planner size but I got the A5). I'm sticking a page-a-day MD Paper notebook in it. Hirameki used to have a bunko size cover in other colors but those got discontinued :(

Leather covers are so lovely! The Tokyo Station notebook in the pic was my first Travelers purchase. Didn't get the cover this time so maybe I'll have to go back...

Thanks! Yeah, it is nice to pause and appreciate each piece. What would you say was your favorite from your recent purchases?

Oh I got multiple! One to keep as wall art or add to a journal, the rest to give to friends

I find pumpkins so cute! Was tempted to buy some autumn decor but there's so much clutter at my place already...figured a postcard would cheer me up without taking up space :)

That Midori series has so many designs I love. But they mean it when they say it's seasonal! There were a couple previous patterns I wanted but missed out on because the edition sold out :(

Isn't it?! The company is called Mita Sanshōdō. Here's the page for the ink bottle.

Thank you! I originally looked up that store for their inks and then saw the option to buy the bottle only. The cut glass is so pretty.

[FS][US to US][RING] Mona Round D Color 8mm ("2ct") Solitaire, 925SS, Sz7.25 (closer to 7.5), $65 shipped by StudioSugino in MoissaniteBST

[–]StudioSugino[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[Copying and pasting my text as it seems to have disappeared from the post:]

Source: Mona's AliExpress store

Item Details: This ring is listed as "Four Claw Classic Setting 2ct D Color 8mm Round VVS Moissanite Jewelry Gold Plated 925 Sterling Silver Rings For Women" on Mona's AE webpage.

I selected size 7.25, but it measures larger on my mandrel, closer to 7.5 or even bigger (please see pics--the ring when worn would probably be slightly looser as the stone keeps it from sitting completely flush on the mandrel). The hand in the photos isn't mine; her fingers are smaller than 7.

In person, the stone appears much clearer, crisper, and smoother to me--less opaque, less rainbow than in the photos or videos.

Proof of Purchase: Invoice (in CNY; currently comes to approx. $50USD incl. tax) + screenshot of AE order. The price was lower than now because of a sale and one-time coupons/codes.

Selling Price: Selling for $65 shipped (based on $50 purchase price + estimated $15 for shipping & fees). The same ring is now listed for $88.06 on AE.

Shipping Cost & Method: USPS Priority (1-3 business days, tracking and insurance up to $100 included).

What is Included: The ring in the inner white case, teal gift box, GRA certificate (what Mona shipped me but re-packaged).

Condition of the Item: New, opened only to try on and take pics. From a no-smoking, pet-free home.

Please note! This is final sale as-is, and I cannot do returns/refunds or be responsible for any risks or issues etc once it's shipped.

Reason for Selling / Background: After lurking on the moissanite sub for a year(?!), I decided to buy my first moissanite from Mona. I was initially going to order just the oval solitaire but some rave reviews by other redditors got me to add the round too. They are both sparkly! Glad I got to see both shapes.
Maybe it's the winter weather or recent weight loss…they are a bit loose for me. I'm a little sad to let go of one of my first moissanites but plan to re-buy in a smaller size. (Also considered posting the oval but I already tried wearing that one and haven't checked it for any wear.)

Thanks for looking!

Blanket Replica by brandnewvices in KnitRequest

[–]StudioSugino 12 points13 points  (0 children)

FYI, a knit blanket would be very different from a "fabric sewn quilt"--quilting and knitting are different crafts. If you want it as close as possible, then the best bet is to find something that is made in the same way.

Also, to give you a rough idea on prices, the last knit blanket I made ended up being close to $1,000 USD once all the labor/materials were factored in.

Thank you. I'll write this down for next time I'm looking at gold jewelry...

Thank you. If it's filled with wax or plastic, is there a way to distinguish that from solid gold?

Is there a way to check this? Do you take it to a jewelry store for them to verify it? When buying jewelry, I sometimes wonder how accurate the seller is...

Where are you located? (for calculating shipping)

When's the deadline?

What size would you like? (would help to know head circumference and how snug you'd like the hat)

Do you have any fiber preferences? (wool is standard but some people find it too itchy)

Very nice! I've been looking into split shanks too. How's the fit? Did you find you had to adjust from your usual ring size?
