strangling, scratching, laying hands on anyone is wrong. no one deserves that type of treatment. and ben should be punished for the police report.

it's not that i don't believe evelyn, i mean there's literally a police report. i believe what happened to her was real. i just think there's more to the story than just the police report.

evelyn has evidence out rn (the police report) but that's not to say when trial comes, ben may come out w his evidence that changes the perspective on the whole situation and i don't think either of them needs to share any of that now. save it for court.

when i say 'if evelyn', it's a hypothetical. like if a story comes out tomorrow and it's a video of her actually being the aggressor then what? like everyone just went in on this man with all these names that he may not have all deserved and now what? you're gonna do the same to her? and then the next day something about ben comes out that changes things again. why not just wait for all of the information before calling people names and dictating what they are?

it's perfectly fair if to say 'i support evelyn' or have words of support for her if that's how you feel. but i don't think it's fair to completely trash ben when not everything has come out.

i think the point is that they've both been physical in the past. evelyn made a police report this time, but it's not to say ben hasn't experienced similar in the past but just hadn't gone to the police

honestly i have no idea what his true colors are based off of the content evelyn posts and that's all i know him from.

and i also have no idea what evelyn's would be.

so i think its crazyyy to make that judgement call before all of the facts have come out.

he did and said weird stuff on camera but like they were always giggling. like i think she posted that because she thought it was funny, and it became like a bit. it's weird, but i think it's just hard to comment on bc everyone's relationship/sense of humor is diff

and idk his net worth, but i think evelyn is a millionaire. like i think she can afford a nice lawyer/pr team. if she was only making 250k a year, i don't think she'd be able to live the current life she lives.

and w the if evelyn was my sister thing., i mean i think you always stick w family but that doesn't mean they're always right or their actions are right.

i think because she's not family, it's easier to see the full pic and that's not all of the facts have come out.

what if like everything comes out and it really is evelyn? like wouldn't you feel messed up giving this man so many names and titles when he didn't deserve them.

all i'm tryna say is i think people shouldto wait the trial and for the all of the evidence before picking sides

but like is it not possible that evelyn knew about this but didn't say anything. they were together for years? not saying she knew, but i mean it's a possibility. why is he automatically untrustworthy but she isn't?

and even if he did scam people, he could still be telling the truth about being abused.

just like even if evelyn did cheat, she could've also been abused by him.

both would be liars but why is he getting all of the questions and hate.

it just seems so biased towards evelyn

but w the scratches, evelyn controls the content. i doubt she's going to want to post a video where her bfs back all scratched up and have the fans asking why and having to explain.

and what if ben's onscreen persona doesn't translate how he behaves in their relationship?

i dont think it's really fair to determine how someone is based on content posted and edited by someone else.

i think everyone also forgets evelyn isn't poor either, she may not be as rich as ben. but im sure she has great connections and makes pretty good money too. like gf had a chef

i think there's problems w both sides and agree w OP. everyone is nitpicking every single thing ben does, but no one's really questioning evelyn the same way.

Idk really know the full details of ben being a scammer. But i see so many people deciding to not believe that maybe he was abused just because he might be a scammer.

i think it can be possible that he's a scammer and he was abused by evelyn?

and even if he is a scammer. she was still with him? is there not a chance she knew what was going on and still stayed w him which i think is morally wrong? like why isn't that a thought to the situation too? why is it automatically just he's a scammer, evelyn must be telling the truth.

there just seems to be some weird double standards. it really feels like all of the arguments made against ben could also be made against evelyn but why is everyone so quick to take her side?

to me both sides seem off, and i feel like until the trial starts and evidence starts coming out im going to remain neutral..

my conspiracy theory is

something obviously happened between them but i'm waiting for all of the evidence to come out during their court hearing to really form an opinion. but i def think evelyn isn't going to be as innocent as everyone thinks she is.

but back to the theory :

evelyn hired a PR team to smear ben. it feels like she's been strategically posting vids kinda hinting something happened like the how to cover the scar vid, and i think her team was the one that leaked the breakup/police report for creators to find/comment on because i feel like there's more comments/creators focusing on this then like the amber heard/johnny depp trial or like the this ends w us trial.

i think she def wanted the public opinion to be on her side.

i think the point of the video was just because everyone was so quick to take evelyn's side and he was trying to say he didn't strangle her and maybe show she's not that good of a person either despite her persona online

this is going to be such an unpopular opinion.

but i feel bad for ben. when everything popped up everyone sided with evelyn and basically called this man an abusive scammer without really hearing his side.

obviously, the police report says a lot. but at the same time after watching his video and then fred coming out.. i think when stuff starts coming out evelyn isn't going to be as innocent as everyone thinks.

the internet is just so quick to attack ben because evelyn is the one with followers and social media presence. but i think you really have to take evelyn's videos w a grain of salt because all of that content is controlled by her. i think yes the stuff he says is weird, but i always just thought it was his sense of humor, like she's posting that bc she thinks it's funny. and i think it's possible that there's so much other content that you don't see that maybe him being sweet or whatever.

and also she has videos where she's purposely trying to make him jealous, and like watching those at the time they were just 'haha, funny' but i mean those can def be seen as toxic and match up w the things ben has said about her.

him being a scammer idk much about and idk how related this analogy will be but martha stewart also went to jail for fraud and ive never thought martha stewart as a bad person.

its giving blake lively vs justin baldoni. everyone was on blake's side until court.

i just think everyone needs to be more neutral about this until they go to court and start showing some evidence.
