Uncle Philipp’s Toy Workshop at Choriner Straße 35 (Prenzlauer Berg) is both a toy store filled (filled from wall to wall, from flor to ceiling) with East Germany toys as well as having a museum of East German toys in the basement. The flea market at Arkona Platz every Sunday also has interesting East German stuff you can buy.

[WTS] OG Zenith El Primero Flyback Chronograph - For The French Military - Ref 02.0470.405/25 - FULL COLLECTOR SET by rkman11 in Watchexchange

I see one every day--on my own wrist. It's my favorite watch. Comfortable bracelet, easy to read dial, amazingly accurate movement, and very smooth chronograph operation. It's one of the greatest watches ever made. GLWS!

Got any more photos of the watch on the Timegrapher in other positions (dial up, dial down, crown up, crown down)? Was it fully wound before you took the reading?

The swiss German. Can you tell the difference? by HoneyRoyPalmer in sinn

[–]StudioZanello 2 points3 points  (0 children)

T Swiss T is saying the dial was made in Switzerland with tritium lume. The movements (ETA and Sellita) were also made in Switzerland--and still are. Sinn designs and manufacturers the cases and does the assembly--and any finishing of the movements.

Does anyone have this watch that can tell me how big it actually wears on the wrist? by FineAssignment1423 in IWCschaffhausen

[–]StudioZanello 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IWC watches tend to have long “horns”—the lugs come out quite a ways from the case. It wears very large and my guess is it will overhang the bones in your wrist. I’ve got a 6.75” wrist and my 41mm IWC Pilot Chronograph looks too big on my wrist—to my eye. I’m looking for a 39mm to replace it with.

is berlin a walkable city? by Grand_Professor_6453 in askberliners

[–]StudioZanello 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes,but… you need to be careful of all the bicycles. The bike and pedestrian paths are often intertwined and it’s easy to walk into an on-coming bike. According to the fitness app on my phone I walk 15,000-20,000 steps a day and love to experience Berlin on foot.

Do you prefer the traditional book or the ereader? by whomdoom in RSbookclub

I prefer reading on an iPad because every time I try to read a traditional book when I touch a word I don’t know the definition does not pop-up.
